The Ravens don’t scare me even a little bit. They have a very good defense, but it just lost Jimmy Smith and the Lions played awful today. Just horribly dumb plays.

Yes, the defense is terrific but Flacco is hot garbage.

Dude its the same ol' Ravens, nothing has changed... their front 7 will give us fits, and hopefully our skill players can make enough plays to get by.

Watching Football night in America right now... the one reporter apparently interviewed Eric Weddle and asked him if he thinks the Steelers are overlooking the Ravens.

Great, now we will have to contend with this crap for the next week or so....

BTW they just lost Jimmy Smith for the year.

I think people around here are riding too much on the 9-2 record.

On one hand we are barely beating some bad teams while others are blowing out those same teams.

On the other hand we are finding ways to win even when we don’t play hot or have mental lapses. Those are signs of a championship team.

Remember this, teams put their best foot forward playing us.

We can win all 3, lose all 3, all I know is that Steelers haters are crossing their fingers and saying their prayers every night in the hopes that we embarrass ourselves. I think they are getting tired of saying prayers

When are they gonna start talking about the afc north sweep the Steelers will have this year? 6 - 0 in the division coming up.

Maybe I’m just overly confident, but this team seems to be really good when they’re ready and prepared for a game — the Ravens game is a big one. I think we will be fine.

And if Haden and/Mitchell are back for that game, I really am not scared.

I don't know about y'all but I'm looking forward to the next 3 games. The Bungles, Ratbirds and Cheatriots always play us tough regardless of record. What we've got here is a sort of pre-playoffs stretch in which our teams true identity and heart will be revealed.

    I say bring it on!

I doubt we see Haden before the New England game. Maybe Mitchell is back, but he really isn't very good, either.

Suggs is he still playing thought he retired after doing a movie. I loved him as Bubba in Forest Gump.

Yeah the Ratbirds are better then they were but every team in the playoff hunt is better then they were 3 months ago.

We have proved we can always play down to our opponent these next three games we need to play up to whoever lines up against us.

The Steeler's almost never make it look easy. Remember Bettis's fumble against Indy, Fitz running free for the go ahead TD in the superbowl.

I somehow think this team has enough talent in all three facets of the game to make it happen this year regardless of where they finish.

Do we play any road games against sub .500 teams that's always reason to worry.

The crows are getting hot at the right time. Any time you have two divisional games where both are still looking playoffs they are going to bring their best. I just hope we are ready for this. And this "Every team plays the Steelers like it's their last meal crap", stop it please. They are 9-2 not because they are world beaters but they make the right plays at the right time and don't give up. This team still has weaknesses. With the emergence of the No Huddle this I believe will propel this team forward. Each opponent now is going to air it out. And as muck as I hope that Haden comes back sooner then later I would rather see him totally healthy for the playoffs. Tonites game I hope is walk in the park so I can sit back and relax. Time to shell these bungles...

I'm not counting on us to lose. I won't be surprised at all if the Steelers lose. I hope the Steelers win and go 10-2 and then take care of the Ravens like good teams are supposed to do.

You might want to hope the Ravens make the playoffs and play the Patriots, they are a team known to beat the Patriots and they usually give them a game.

I'm not surprised the Ravens have a great defense. Flacco was playing like utter crap, just terrible. So when he does play good, they can win. I'm not surprised. We should like that they are good. Brings more respect to the AFC North.

You just don't want the Steelers to run away with it, and say well hey they only won it because their division was crap.

I'd much rather see New England match up with the Ravens, than I would, someone like the Bills or some other team that just barely made it in with a hurt QB or something like that.

But, of course me saying this watch us get them instead. But I will say this, the last time we beat the Ravens in the playoffs we went to the Super Bowl those years.

    2008 and 2010.

We beat two common opponents that the rats lost to, Vikings and Titans, so instead of talking about barely beating some bad teams lets talk about beating two division leaders one with 10 wins in the vikes that we did beat that the rats didnt beat, and we both lost to the bears and jags, so the rats dont have anything to brag about....

Exactly, Steelers are a strange team - reminds me of the early 90's Cowboys in how they seem to play down to the opponent. However, when they need to (just like the Cowboys did) they deliver. Do I like that inconsistency? No - Will I like the final result (SB)? Hell yah.

Ravens will likely get the 6th seed if they get in, since Jags and Titans are running neck and neck, loser getting the 5 seed. That will match Ravens up with 1 seed, IF they make it by the wildcard round. Wildcard round will match them up with the winner of the AFC South (Jags or Titans). If standings go on their present trajectory... AFC South winner will get the 3 seed and AFC West winner will get 4 seed.

So... if Ravens make it to divisional round, they will most likely be matched up against New England, which is good for the Steelers. But, it will be tough for the Ravens to win without Jimmy Smith at CB.

Well the patriots series record is 9-3 against the rats, and 2-2 in playoff games, I think the pats could hold their own against them in the playoffs this year, unfortunately....

It's what we live for. Meaningful Steelers games through the holidays and beyond.....nice entertainment to look forward to. How many other NFL cities would love to have our "problems" to ***** about?

I'm worried about the Ravens, but no more or less than any other team on the schedule. So right now, the only team I'M concerned with are the Bengals. If the Steelers come out fired up like they should, they will quickly turn into the Bungles we love to hate.

The only thing that "worries me" is that the ratbirds last 3 games are at the brownies, then home to indy, and the bungles.

We are a great team worth a solid defense and a much better offense. The Ravens are playing well but they are still an average team. Since when are the Detroit Lions a barometer of success? That team is absolute garbage and the dumpster of the NFC North. They haven't won a playoff game since 1991. Only team worse is the bungles since 1990.

You know what we need to do? Just focus on winning every game, every week. Prepare for every opponent like they are the Patriots, because any team in the league can bite you in the @ss if you over look them. This team can beat anyone in the league period.
