He didn't say anything about Brady. He was asked if he thought they would win. His answer was yes if we play the way we are capable of we will win. It was then spun into Anthony Smith guarantee's win against the Pats. It has grown in the telling. But is started with a writer asking a player a question and that player having confidence in himself and his team.

Agreed, and this is the problem with the Media/Fans. People only look at the title and then talk, if you read the whole thing like we did you see he said nothing wrong. The whole looking past the Bunholes is a joke, these guys are professionals and they know what they are doing. To think this season isn't about the Cheats is wrong, what they did to us last year in route to a SB title is fuel for the fire. Then it emerged that Brady can stand in the face of blitzers galore, but apparently the off-the-cuff comments of an unproven back up safety was the worst insult he could possible receive, and he ran over to Smith to start jabbering at him after a TD. Which should technically count as taunting, if you were following the rules.

 

The Anthony Smith debacle. I remember Brady running his mouth, then Harrison walks up and pretty boy was outta there. And if I were Mike Mitchell I'd try not to think about that whooping until it finally arrives. Pats game is all on the offense. Only chance we have is if we can put up 40 points on them, the D will be hopeless against Brady as usual.

 

Again, Mitchell needs to play better, if possible, the rest of the season. #weakest link

 

Mitchell burns and coty are our weakest links, which is a big deal lol. Front 7 is stellar.

Ask A Smith can you beat the Pats* The answer he gave word for word was Yeah, if we do the things we practiced right. Last question was is that a guarantee? you see the same yeah and not any word after. I believe DOUCHETT cut and pasted that last answer. So he should be givin the credit for that quote not AS. Didn't he get a ring in 2010 though?

What Mitchell said was no big deal. My concern is what Mitchell does on the field. He's a flippin' idiot on the field. He can't cover anyone, always goes for the big hit and misses the tackle, loves to showboat after tackling a runner who just gained a first down, plays dumb, the list goes on and on. Brady eats safeties like Mike Mitchell for lunch. Okay to have a cocky attitude when you can back that up, but Mitchell's attitude is unmatched by his play on the field!

 

I personally find it intriguing that grammatical semantics within our society can be taken out of context so easily.


Beyond that, one on this board would be hard pressed not to find a team in the NFL, nevermind the AFC, who does not see the Patriots as the biggest roadblock in the league.
