Oh man, that would be so incredible.

I feel ya exactly on Metallica and Bob Rock and mostly about Sandman, but I could get behind it more. I still want a song where the lyrics make more sense for the moment. "Seek and Destroy" would also be great. Any of those songs... = All BETTER.

Oh well, we have what we have and I'm just glad it works for them (us).

If we're talking about Stadium songs then Cleveland should enter the stadium to "Girls just wanna have fun" by Cindy Lauper.

I have no problem with the song I think it is a great pump up song especially when you add the videos and there are tons of them out there. Then when you find out the history behind the song it make it even better, imo. :smiley1:

And we can play "For Whom the Bell Tolls" whenever Lev scores a TD. You and I would love Blackened or Battery for a theme song, but I fear that some fans might have Depends moments the first time it comes up on the PA at 105 decibels. :hardrock:

Glad you had a great time! I've been to several games in Heinz and Three Rivers. The whole Pittsburgh experience is awesome!

Personally I don't need a song to get fired up at a game. My favorite is the Steelers Chant "Here we go Steelers, Here we go...

BAL: "Murder was the Case" By Snoop Dog?

As for Renegade, I enjoy it when it's played. Last home game I went to they didn't play it (that horrible Jacksonville game). Can't say I blame them for not even playing it.

I like Renegade but, I can see how it would get old if you heard it every week. Kinda like how the Padres would play the intro to Hells Bells every time Trevor Hoffman came in for a save!

I hate that song with a passion. If I never heard that song again.. it would be a blessing.

I also hate the usual song bits I hear every game like:

    Crazy Train
    Welcome to the Jungle
    Hells Bells

Songs are that way overdone and need to be discarded to the dustbin of history. And I actually like Ozzy Osborne, Guns'n'Roses and AC/DC. Just sick of those damn songs.

Also.. thank the Godz for Sirius and Pandora radio. Don't even get me started on terrestrial Classic Rock radio stations.

Guess every city has it go to songs, I dont recall those being played too much, Hells Bells probably the most out of those three. Black Betty is one of the big ones they play here.

I’d go with Down in a Hole by Alice in Chains.

Or Loser by Beck. Though I imagine they impulsively sing that in the locker room.

I used to cringe every time I heard "I'm Shipping up to Boston" by Dropkick Murphys during '07 season when Patriots were undefeated. When they lost to the Giants in SBXLII... I never heard that song in relation to the Patriots ever again.

Now I like the song, because it reminds me 18 and 1 and done. :icon mrgreen:

Black Betty = No thank you...

Anyone ever heard the Metallica cover of "Stone Cold Crazy" by Queen? I'd take that one as a hype song also.

Not sure how this became an advertisement for old-school Metallica but it has.

Guess I am an old traditional type fan cause I still get goose bumps in and out of the stadium when I hear that song. And I hate black and yellow. Its black and gold lol

I'm old and traditional too. I just don't dig that particular song. It's weak.
