Have not seen enough mention of his game-winning kick as I read the posts...if he had missed that 53 yarder, most of u would have said, oh, well, he's kicking at Heinz, that length of field goal is practically impossible, but he didn't cave under the pressure and knocked it through for the win. We had a plethora of players that stepped up on Sunday, and I put him right up there with the rest of them. Boz rocks!!!

Yeah, I was a little (just a little) miffed that he missed the PAT at the beginning of the game, but he more than made up for it. He's been pretty solid overall, and he deserves some kudos.

I was wondering why McCarthy was trying a 57 yarder?

You punt that ball and make the Steelers go 90 plus yards with a touchdown lead.

Ya gotta love The Wizard of Bos. That wasn't an easy kick at big ketchup by any means.

On the other hand, maybe the way to look at it is he got us a win back to make up for one of the games he cost us the win.

I was wondering if he missed that PAT because of the pressure from his right? We've had 2 kicks blocked, this season, from that same side. Might have caused him to hook it. I know he can't be thrown by pressure, and he usually isn't, but it's just a thought.

Once a homer, always a homer. Can't take the Greenfield out of the boy. But you're right - such a blatantly obtuse call that will haunt him for a long time.

Since we received the game opening KO, I'm assuming we lost the coin toss but would have chosen the field direction. Why then were we kicking into the open end in the 4th QTR (if my memory serves me correctly)? Or does the toss winner choose the 2nd half direction? Makes no sense but non issue since Boz nailed it.

This guy should be the 4th B. He has kept us in many games and also win games for us. Way to go Boz.

I took my son to his very first NFL game when the Steelers came off the bye and went to the Colts. Lots of Steelers fans there and we had Endzone seats lower level at the end where Boswell made the game winning kick with 4 seconds left on the clock. Although it wasn't the best performance by the Steelers in the first half and some into the 3rd quarter of the game, it sure was a great comeback win and one that he and I will remember for the rest of our lives.

The Packers game was on too late for him to stay up for but I have no idea how he stayed asleep when Boswell kicked the game winner. That was another awesome comeback win.

The Steelers have been fortunate to have lots of great kickers over the years starting with Roy Gerela and then Gary Anderson (who was let go way too soon). Many more followed and Boz is definitely making a statement to continue the trend.

I also have to give a shout out to the rest of the ST's players on FG's. It takes all of them to make it work.

He missed a FG in the Bears game and that ended up in OT. There have been others for sure, but there`s one of them.

Boz is ranked number four on the leader board 25 made out of 28 for a percentage average of 89.3, while everybody raves about the rats tucker he is ranked 9th having made 23 of 26 with a 88.5 average, and boz is hot at heinz field while most kickers miss a lot there, so keep it up boz and shoot for that 1 spot and a probowl.......

Ok, I'd forgotten about that one. I don't think Boz "cost us the game" though. The ENTIRE team sucked it up that day!

Thats what I was thinking. Lot of culprits in that game. Boz didn't cause the loss, he contributed to it.

Boz has been so solid, I wasnt even angry at him for the missed extra point last week.

This...misses have been more common with the recent rules changes. I was pretty sure the final score would not end up being Packers 7, Steelers 6. And they got that point back right away with the two point conversion.

That is a reasonable call if you have a good kicker but Mason Crosby kind of sucks.

Really, in this era, a 57 yard FG is very makeable.
