Okay clueless fan, how many Super Bowls did Noll win without Bradshaw? Of course the team won't be as good if the franchise QB retires , look at Green Bay without Rodgers.

When I watch the Pats which isn't very often I see a great QB ( still hate him ) a middle level talent overall, a well coached offensive line and a very well coached offense that uses the skills of their QB perfectly. They seem to run more rubs and borderline picks then any team in the league but when it works its almost impossible to stop. I despise that chicken crap dink and dunk. Nowadays you can t light em up like Troy used or you risk a penalty or fine.

I hope they are healthy to start the game and are battered and broken at the end GO STEELERS.

I mean, will we be worse without Ben? I think we could find someone that makes less than Ben that could play to the level Ben has this season (Keenum) and use the extra cash to lock up Bell and Shazier.

We have a really good roster top to bottom and have a lot of key pieces locked up for the future. We are looking like one of the top teams in the league, and that's with an underperforming Ben... I think we can find someone else who can play at a similar level for less and still be a top caliber team in the NFL.

So let me ask you this our offense has under performed for some time now. Yeah we had big games and yeah we have league leaders in stats but when it comes right down to it our offense can't play big. Oh and that is with our future HOF QB running it, you think we could sign someone like Keenum(who by the way is on his 4th team now) to step in and run this offense? If it were that easy why can't Landry do it????

Also something most aren't talking about is the fact that Pouncey has said when Ben is done so is he. Now let's throw in that we don't sign Bell, we could....I say COULD be without our QB, RB and C. Not easy to just say sign a guy like Keenum.

Part of the reason is the zebras keep a very protective and watchful eye on their bro bro Brady

You don't give enough credit to Bubbachick. Your focusing on Tomlin and he is not the problem. BB is a mastermind and knows how to beat us. So long as Brady is QBing I really do not see any team that has a really good chance of taking them down.

Keenum has been a game manager for the vikes behind a strong defense, but he has only thrown 14 TDs with 5 picks during their winning stretch, and we did beat the vikes with him at QB 26-9, they have had a pretty favorable schedule so far, but their next two games against the falcons and panthers on the road will be a test for them and keenum, after these two games they have 3 cup cake games, heading into the playoffs we will see if keenum can hold up against the stronger competition, and that will define whether case is just a game manager or a game winner when it counts, he hasnt proved he is a franchise QB yet based on 1 good season on a good team, after all he went undrafted for a reason and getting a starter for this team doesnt include him.........

I agree I am not saying he can't turn into a good QB I am just saying we need to pull the reigns in on the Keenum bandwagon. Yes he is doing well right now but I am not ready to turn this offense over to a guy "like" Keenum just cause he is having a nice half season. To think our offense is plug and play is crazy, I think if we are looking for a QB after Ben it can't come off the scrap heep, jmo.

Actually, if you look at the roster, the Steelers are the better team

But if you "allow" someone to get inside your head, they will reduce you to close to nothing

The Steelers can beat them, every time, if they really want to

    Only for about 7-8 hours.

Two teams I hate to watch, Patriots and Eagles and damn if it looks like this will be the first Super Bowl I don't watch.

Please, if it comes down to this I will be singing fly eagles fly in hopes of a cheats drubbing. My dislike of the eagles especially their fans runs deep but this team is looking like the NFC representative in the Super Bowl at this point. And they are kicking @ss and taking names.

Well Ben is a future HoF QB that is either underperforming or has started entering an area where he is past his prime. He is not playing at a HoF level this season. His body of work is HoF.

Yes, I do believe someone like Keenum could come into our offense with the line and set of weapons that we have and run it at a comparable level to this season. I honestly think Landry could do a decent job, but I think Keenum is a bit better.

I'm running this under the assumption that we will be able to retain Bell with all of the free money we get back from Ben's salary. Pounced leaving would be a blow for sure, but we'd either address that in the draft or in FA. We also have Finney who is a pretty decent player himself (not that he's Pounceys level).

We have a good defense, a good line, and some really good weapons. Lots of good players under contract for a while. We are in as good of shape as we could possibly be in to remain competitive after our franchise QB decides to hang them up.

I agree Ben is not playing at HOF standards. However what we all over look is the experience Ben brings and what that means to this team. I have been one of the most critical of Ben's play but I am starting to think it isn't all just Ben.

With all that said no way in hell do I feel Jones could do the job and like I have said before Keemun is having a nice little run here but let's see what happens the rest of the way before we think he is an NFL QB.

Now I agree and have said in many posts that this team is talented. The D is really starting to come into its own and our WR's are second to none. Signing Bell will be key if we lose Ben next year but you don't win championships in this league with an elite QB. JMO

They will if Butler insists on that zone. Basically it's this simple: If Haden comes back we have a shot, if not, it's ball game. We absolutely need Joe Haden out there to play man.
