You said he cant do it at all. Wrong.

He was under pressure IIRC. Much easier for you to see on your TV screen when 300lbs monsters arent trying to kill you.

So that defines his career? How about all the plays he gets right and the passes he does make?

First, his teammates disagree with you and say Ben is absolutely a great leader. The second part of your sentence is mind numbingly naive if you dont think all players are hurting on 4 days rest. Every player in the league hates playing on Thursday because of it.

Shocking that his teammates didnt know that already, youd think theyd hear it standing next to Haley. And sending the message to his teammates to focus on your job regardless, horrible, cant believe he'd say that.

Yes, Im sure you could, you are very good at making stuff up. In true PWP fashion you take a situation and blow it up to something it is not.

Heres what we do know. Ben is struggling making throws, it's likely that his body is a major factor, his knee, ankle, shoulder, take your pick, all of the above maybe, is the cause of it.

Well...now I feel like an idiot. What a great performance against a good team. He looked fantastic!

I don't know what happened but I hope it sticks.

He had a good half. It doesn’t make a season, but it could make the rest of the season. Still a lot of games to go.

He is warming up for sure. Takes some time to get into rhythm. I believe he found it. he was very poised, made smart decisions and the ball accuracy and speed was better then his first half of the season. He is zipping it in there now. Those passes to Juju had some mustard on em.

Ben has definitely experienced a significant decline in his skills this year. He's still good enough to beat anyone.

Right now the most obvious thing I see is Ben's accuracy, especially on deep balls is not good. That would probably be a product of loss of arm strength. At this point in his career he's probably not willing to put in the training that he once did. If he could throw a better deep ball right now I think this offense would be pretty spectacular. The Titans were daring us to beat them with Ben and in the first half he really struggled to do it. Going back to the no huddle is a must, which is why I'm pretty sure we won't see it again.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned it but how many balls were dropped by our WR's last night? That was horrible. I think at one point we had 3 or 4 consecutive drops. Bryant is painful to watch. Unfortunately I think we are stuck with him all season. I can totally picture him losing a playoff game for us because he can't catch.

If those drops were catches Ben's night would have been really impressive. That game shouldn't have been close at any point. Think we had 3 FG's in the first half. If we turn a couple of those into TD's the game would have been over at half time.

Given his injury history over the past few years, I would guess that his throwing issues are rooted in his left knee. The plant leg is pretty important for the mechanics of deep ball accuracy.

Agree with this and am super excited Ben had a good game last night but before I get all happy let's hope this Ben is here to stay. The last 3 weeks we have seen an improvement in Ben and maybe Ben is getting his groove back. If we can have this Ben the rest of the year I will be pretty happy and I like our chances.

IDK, I have been pretty hard on Ben's throw deep and while it wasn't the best last night I will say it is heads and shoulders above what it has been. At least last night when he missed, he missed so nobody could catch it. He isn't missing short so it can be picked off, also that one pass Jackson made a heck of a good play getting his head around and getting a hand on it. That was a good ball thrown by Ben. I am keeping my fingers crossed and hoping Ben has found his groove.

Exactly. It's not black and white guys. Everyone needs to just settle down. It was never time to start Dobbs and those comments were ridiculous, but at the same time, it's not like Ben has suddenly become his old self again. The first half had a lot of what we have seen previously this season. The second half was much better. Ben was moving around the pocket much more than he has all year. He was keeping his eyes down field for the most part. He looked good. One half doesn't make him a hall of famer the same way that a few bad games doesn't take away from what he's accomplishes in his career. The key is that we saw improvement. Hopefully we build on it and the good times keep rolling.

This is the most important one here. All the other stuff in nonsense, we have seen a very very bad Ben to start the season but the last 3 game I have seen a guy getting better. It has been said here by many people including you and be that we will live and die with Ben. I don't care about stats, I don't care if we see the "old style" Ben where he gets hit and keeps the play going. I want to see a guy who can hit a player in stride don't matter how long or how short just give our guys a chance. That is what I feel is the Ben we are starting to see, we all know Ben isn't a guy going to go 25 for 30 but Ben isn't the player we have seen to start the season missing wide open guys either.

Between Bens improvement and the pressure we are seeing from this D I am cautiously optimistic about our chances in late January........and imo that is what I am looking ahead to! :herewego::steelflag::herewego!:
