We are 7-2 and people here act like we are 2-7

This right here. This is whats so frustrating. Nobody fears us. Most of the teams in this league fear the Patriots. They know going into a game against Brady/Belinchat that they are going to lose. That is half the battle. That is a big reason the Pats are putting up 40+ points on teams all the time because they give up.

 

Someone had a Chuck Noll quote in their sig, either here or on SteelerFury, "If your talking about retiring you already retired".

 

I think if we throw up 30-40 points on a team it shows the offense is clicking. If we are not clicking come Dec 17th we will lose. We have to win that game perhaps to keep #1 seed.

 

Don't know if they give up, but they definitely go into the game with doubts. They come up with some game plan that gives them the best chance of winning, and HOPE it works. And it rarely does.

 

I have to agree with Ben. More football, more football, more money for the cash starved NFL. Ben is not the only player to complain about this. I personally don't watch the Thursday games unless the Steelers are playing.

 

Oh well, deal with it then MT is going to be the HC until at least 2020 .

 

It was like this during the good Cowher years. Teams feared the Steelers, even though they didn't have a franchise QB.

Nobody fears the Steelers anymore and the players on the team think they are much better than they really are.

 

In that case they should play lights out tonight since it's only been 4 days since they played a game, so what will be their excuse if they don't play well to night????

 

Concern that Haley thinks there is a coach named Ben on the sideline. I really think it is a force ghost of Ben Kenobi personally

Its a true bromance, but I think I'm in the market for a new bro because this one is too moody.

 

I know the offense is not performing the way I'd like it to, but I have a really good feeling about this team. I envision them playing closer than comfortable games over the next month, all the while getting more and more in sync offensively...

Then they get Haden back...

Then they finish at 12-4...

Then they peak at just the right time going into the playoffs...

Then they dominate and bring home the 7th Lombardi in a rout!

 

Well? That was the closest to lights out they've played all season.

Let's hope the Steelers didn't peak too early. Go Raiders. Hope they whip the sh!t out of the Patriots in Mexico.
