The issue is they are getting better as the season goes along. They had some injuries early in the season so will be ready late in the year. We are getting big injuries middle of the year. They circumvented the cap to get Marty Bennett back on their team. I don't think they ever really got to see Bennett/Gronk combo last year due to injuries and you know they like the two TE sets. That alone will probably smoke us. Offense still hasn't hit it's stride. I liked our chances with Haden. It will all come down to if we can get pressure with 4 guys. Their o-line was horrible early in the year that's why they were losing games and it's gotten better every game. We need the Chiefs to beat them in the playoffs. Only hope.

I'm not sure why would even play this game. We should probably forfeit and rest up, so we can travel to be beat by them on the road in the playoffs.

Thing that bothers me is that the Patsy's blow some of their opponents out of the water showing just how strong they are. We do not do that.

The 3 Super Bowls we have gone to with Ben under center we did not have to beat Bratty and his crew in the playoffs.

Beating a Brady led Patriot team in Foxboro for the AFC Championship would mean almost as much to me as winning the Superbowl. How great would those two weeks be????!!!!!

    Wasn't a pretty win.

But you throw out two blown overages for 14 points. Steelers beat the Colts 20-6 more than likely.

A win is a win is a win.

Since you're playing what ifs - what if #50 traps that INT per replay - then what? Just saying, it can go both ways. I still like the 17 pt comeback victory and throw in an awesome 2 pt conversion. Priceless!

Against the Broncos, the Pats had 17 points off a muffed punt return, a blocked punt and a kick return in the first half.

I get the feeling that if we’d done the same, people here would be saying we only won because of the other teams mistakes.

I do not want to go Foxboro in January. That stuff the Pat's just pulled off with Bennet reminds me of the Blunt ****, in some ways I hate them and others respect them because it is win at all cost and do whatever they can do to obtain an advantage.

Bottom line the only thing that matters is a SB Title (#7) and obtaining the #1 seed and home field advantage. That means NE comes to Pittsburgh.

Then it would of been fourth down. With the colts punting out of their endzone more than likely giving the steelers the ball at mid-field or on their side or the field.

Coming back down 14 points in the 3rd qt on the road, even against a bad team is impressive.

Yeah there is always some kinda BS going on over there, sometimes signal stealing, ball deflating, headsets problems. ...but I do remember jets/ravens both went in theRe and ended pats season.

Because those Ravens and Jets teams didn't respect the Patriots. I hate to say but I think it starts with our QB. We played them better last year with Jones than Ben. He loves Brady and it pisses me off.

    Technically that's three things.

Right, I'm done with my pedantry for the day.

Technically, two. Home-field advantage is a concomitant of #1 seeding.

(By the way, the Pedants Anonymous meeting has been moved up to 6pm tonight.)
