Being a Penn State fan I really wanted Chris Godwin to be a Steeler. But, I'm glad I was wrong. Glad Ju Ju is here. If there is one thing I shouldn't doubt Kevin Colbert and his scouting department is the wide out position.

Think of all the good WR he has drafted.

Plaxico, Randle El, Holmes, Wallace, Brown, Bryant, and now Ju Ju.

Was about ready to ask where Ward was and then remembered Tom Donahoe drafted him.

Liked the pick then. Love it now.

As I said months ago, JuJu is more than just Martavis Bryant insurance. He solves a bevy of issues by himself while adding firepower to the team; two first round tangibles for the price of a second round pick.

This is also not accounting for his maturity and approach to the game. After the game, Ben stated that JuJu focused more so about what did not go right and how to improve over what did.

Such intangibles are seldom seen in a player of JuJu's age. Now that he has the mindset and physical gifts, organic growth through self improvement is not only wonderful to see because he is allowing it to happen naturally but also promising on what he can potentially become.

I wasn't happy with the pick. Then again I'm never happy.

Juju is a sexy beast though

Same here. I thought we should have picked a CB or Safety in round 2... but what do I know? Colbert is a lot smarter than me. Plus, the Steelers needed insurance in case Martavis went bi-polar. It's looking more and more like a great draft pick. Steelers got 1st round quality late in the 2nd round.

And when I read thread title, Good and Plenty candy came to mind. "Choo Choo Charlie was his name we hear. He had an engine and he sure had fun. He used Good and Plenty candy to make his train run"
Charlie say's, love my Good and Plenty, Charlie say's, Tom Brady bites it, Charlie say's, STEELERS gonna win it.

OK so I made up some of it:) By the way, the World Series is awesome this year!!! Best pitchers in BB this season getting smoked with the long ball. I think the ball could be a tad bit juiced this year.

Yeah it was a tough one. But, you got to play all 4 quarters. JT Barrett played lights out for OSU and PSU had no answer for it.

Remember the last time the Steelers drafted a mid-western LBer and a WR from USC in the first two rounds of the draft? Only that time it was the WR who went in the 1st round and the LB who went in the 2nd but told the WR that he should have been drafted first and the WR should have been drafted second. Anyway, I just hope a little Steelers history may be repeating itself here.

I sure was wrong about this kid. Hated the pick during the draft. Glad to have been mistaken.

    True.

However, a player's best ability is availability. JuJu has shown that thus far. That in itself makes his success all the better.
