Why is the college football system different from the NFL? I mean, the players would have an easier time if they played in an NFL system while in college. Development would be easier for them and no one would have a hard time adjusting to the NFL.

Are you talking rules? Like one foot in vs two on receptions? Clock stopping after 1st downs? No 2 minute warning? PI penalty 15 yds from LOS vs where infraction occurs? Or OT rules? You are right - lots of differences just to name a few. Baseball has it's quirks too - DH in American League, I believe minor leagues allow aluminum bats.........

College football does not exist to be a developmental league for the NFL. Most college players don't make the pros

It exists mainly to exploit young athletes to make millions of dollars for universities in exchange for an "education"..oh, wait I mean Rah, rah, rah, GO TEAM!

I agree. The current state of college football has rendered it unwatchable in my eyes. Targeting ejections, read option being 95% of most offenses, literally zero defense being played... it's bad.

Get the same rules as the pros. Idc if most of the players don't go pro, it shouldn't matter to them what rules they play if hey are playing for the love of the game.
