They should just can him for the rest of the year. He clearly tried to kick Nix in the head with both feet. He mostly missed but he is nothing but an idiot. He doesn’t have the temperament to play this game.

 

And how stupid is he for still doing things like this when he has been disciplined over and over.

 

Its a shame too because the man is one talented player. If he could keep his head straight he could be one of the best. You see a clear difference in their defense when he is in the game. As a Steeler fan im glad he cant keep in line.

 

Yes definitely should have some disciplinary action taken against AfterBurfict

It was more of a shove with his feet than a vicious kick, but once again he did something that was in no way an attempt to make a football play. He continues to essentially throw tantrums on the field. Like any other spoiled brat who throws a tantrum, he needs a timeout.

I think it's well established that Burfict plays past the whistle, and has been less than legal at times.
That being said, I don't necessarily have too much of an issue with this play. Nix seemed to be giving Burfict a little bit extra too. Burfict was just trying to get Nix off of him, using his legs.
I think Mitchell's hit on Smith last week (even though he got his feet tangled) looked way worse.

I tend to agree, but that would all change if his temper ended up injuring another of our team. The question really is when does he become enough of a risk to others to justify removing him from the game. Some will say we're already there.

 

There is a difference between something happening during the speed of the game and after action kicking and stepping on people. Defensive players are going to get flagged for hits, you can try to avoid it but the speed of the game will expose fast pass rushers to fines and DBs getting caught up in a high tackle. His crap is just dirty play.

 

I would like Deebo to pay Burfict a visit in a dark alley. Burfict needs his a$$ kicked in a major, major way. The guy is a disgrace. He kicks Nix in the head right in front of a ref, no call, no nothing. If he had done that to a Patriots player, he would have been tossed from the game.

 

Everyone's talking about the kick to the head. Did anyone watch the battle going between Nix and Burfict? It was awesome. Burfict did more than just try and kick him. He also took a swing at him after the whistle once. He was going out of his way to head hunt Nix on several plays. Burfict was focused on hitting Nix hard after Nix layed the wood on Burfict early in the game. Also saw Nix go low on Burfict and that set him off. Nix was in his head . Burfict took the bait and it hurt the Bengals all game.

Having Nix target Burfict was brilliant. I absolutely love the fact we are using the FB more and Nix is doing a fantastic job leading the way and head hunting LB's. Reminds me of the Dan Kreider days. Now just use the damn FB on short yardage plays. 2 or 3 times we had 3rd and short and we come out with a Bell as the single back. We were killing them with the FB why would we go away from it on short yardage? It looked like Nix had the Raven's LB's hesitant to stick their head into the hole knowing he'd blast them first.

 

Before the game I wanted Nix to dial up Burfict every chance he got. Burfict can't handle being played like that. He is used to being the one laying the hits. Nix got in his head. I love it.

 

Exactly. It pisses me off when people compare Burfict to James Harrison. Burfict routinely does dirty things after the whistle that are not football plays. He twists limbs, pokes eyes, kicks, whatever. As far as I can remember, every time Harrison got in trouble for something it was on a tackle during a play. He wasn't going out of his way trying to hurt guys; he simply took awhile to adjust to the new NFL tackling rules. Totally different than doing the **** that Burfict does. Burfict shouldn't even be allowed to play football anymore. He is constantly just trying to injure players.

 

I mentioned it in the game day thread where Burfict forearmed Nix in the head 8:32 left in the 3rd qtr.

 

Patriots have special ratings rules which prohibit tackling them or winning a game against them.

 

How does Marvin Lewis still have a job?? I mean what is it going to take for the Bengals to finally part ways with this idiot.
