Idiotic play calling in the red zone again!

 

Terrible play call and no excuse at all for not calling the time-out sooner. The Steelers just gave away four points in a close game. The defense just isn't playing well enough to overcome the red zone failures.

 

Holy shot! You have to love Bell;however, there are times when his patience isn't warranted. Screw tap dancing around when it's 2nd and goal, slam it in there!

 

All this could have been avoided if that stupid idiot could catch. DAMN IT. Perfect call, perfect throw ruined because a damn tight end cant catch.

 

They pass in this area when they should run, tgeyvrun when they should pass.

Hey, those 3 points were a gift by a dumb penalty. I`m happy, not greedy and unhappy.

 

They might have just given away 4 points. They might have just kep the bengals from scoring 7 as well.

 

Piss poor play calling and game management as usual. That crap is going to cost us.

 

He’s not the most athletic guy, but he’s a great blocker. Grimble makes that catch. Hell Heath still could!!!!

I think - I think - they only called the play dead at 3 seconds.

So they did call a timeout with 8 seconds left, but the play was still live.

That's the only explanation, given how mad Tomlin was.

 

How could you like a run call with only 12 seconds left?

 

I agree. I root for Vance, really I do. Seems like a hard worker and a stand up guy, but he is afflicted with granite hands.

 

The league will issue the official "My Bad" apology tomorrow but thats what they were saying.

 

I think he was calling it, they ignored them on the sideline. Ben should have called it.

 

I truly don’t understand why Haley calls the crap he does. He’s always had his moments, but he seems way worse this year.

 

If they know they are gonna run there and assuming you don't get in the end zone Tomlin has to be ready instantly and by the refs ready to call that timeout and of course he clearly wasn't. Those kinds of things just shouldn't happen.
