Don't expect Bell to have a 151 yards and we kick 6 field goals and leave with a win this time....

This is an example of my gripe with Haley. Again, he's done some good things regarding the structure of the playbook to help take pressure off of Ben, but his ability to script said plays into a cohesive, effective game plan before and during a game leave a lot to be desired, IMHO. The Shazier strip interception at the end of the half help set up a FG that kept it a 4-point game. The offense had shown good movement in the opening series of the game (though it stalled in the RZ), which featured a lot of Bell. There was no reason to go away from that when they received the 3rd quarter kickoff. Doing so continued to put them in a bigger hole that effectively killed their chances of going back to it later.

It's just an example of quirks I've noticed in Haley's playcalling in the past. I think both he and Ben have a tendency to think of plays individually, rather than as part of a bigger picture. Ben's often guilty of trying to force balls into heavy coverage or trying a low percentage throw when the defense is giving him something easy underneath that would keep the chains moving. It seems almost a matter of hubris. Sometimes you need to stay focused on what you know will work instead of risking another avenue, assuming you can bring dig yourself out of whatever hole that may bring.

That seems like an unfair test: going on the road and defeating the best team in football.

I think the Oline is a mess, but the worst offender yesterday was Hubbard followed closely by Foster then AV

All any team has to do is look at our game film and they know whats coming from the formation, haley is so predictable in his play calling it's no wonder we dont score TDs in bunches, or in this last game none at all, he better make some damn changes to his boring offense before sunday or it's going to be ugly in KC, just for kicks to confuse the defense put Bell in the slot and Conner in the back field and there are a lot more formations he can change and how about a couple gadget plays for a change.......

I've been saying the same thing for years ....he has no clue how to use formations as a advantage and for deception. His formations are a dead give away of what's about to happen and severely limits the options we have in the RZ......Gee I wonder why we struggle ..l.l

I don't know if I have seen any positive plays out of that empty backfield. To be honest, even though our line is supposed to be "good" I don't trust our tackles or Ben to make a quick read when going empty backfield.

We are spreading the ball out to much, no one is getting into a rhythm except AB. We need to refine what we do and the amount of people we rotate in.

Eli Rodgers needs to get back on the field. I really don't like his lack of quickness, but he is great at finding open spots in a short zone. He needs to make up for our lack of production from our TE. Speaking of TE, Jesse is the most reliable.... No More Vance.

We need to find a way to get Martavis more involved and get more high percentage looks, rather than just down the filed strikes. Also, his best deep ball catches as a rookie came when he was in the slot going against a nickel or dime corner. Maybe he shouldn't be lined up on the outside?
