Going to Dobbs at this point would be drastic, but drastic times.....

I think LJ would go in before Dobbs, but I think we all know a non-injured Ben is not getting benched. That would show the team is giving up imo. I'm talking about benching him at the start of the game, not being pulled in the middle of a game.

Just gotta ride out the bad times with him. He definitely needs something to get him out of the funk though. Not sure what that is.

Most people know I have been a Ben supporter, but with all the talk this off season and then the way he has played this season is pretty disappointing. I know Ben will never get benched I am just saying all these factors show me Ben is just about done. Maybe Ben bounces back IDK but we need something to happen fast.

Has he even smiled lately like looked like he is having fun? Maybe that's what's missing the joy of playing.

Still too early to panic just yet with so much football left to be played, but any game like this again and its reason to start.

Maybe the Bus or Hines will give Ben a call this week and tell him to get his head out of his arse and lead this team. Ben's comments about himself are doing no one any good.

I tell you it's got to be lonely in that locker room for him. Sure there are guys like Cam who have been here with him for a few years but everyone that came in with him is gone. Heath is gone, Warren done, Timmons gone, no Harrison through five weeks it's like his anchor is gone.

And Tom Brady sees people come and go every year. That shouldn't be an excuse.

Ben's wife is in his head that happens to the best of us. When he was asked a question by one of the local media reporters he made reference to his kids being out in the hallway of the locker room waiting for him!!! That's where his head is right now!!!

If that is the mental attitude of Roethlisberger, then he needs to sit.

Bring on someone who WANTS to play the game.

    Get RID of dead weight.

Management is on notice. Start your planning now to find a way to get a high 1st round QB draft pick.

If Ben looks horrible against KC, you know he is done. He should have a bounce back game after that humiliation if he cares anymore.

Again, we get inside the 3 yard line & it's shotgun with no back. Wouldn't the threat of play-action be helpful if your gonna throw that close?? We got legitimate weapons, we don't seem to use them. I would use Terrell Watson along with Nix to power it home. Or use Justin Hunter, James, Bryant's height to our advantage. With all our weapons, the inability to score touchdowns can't be accepted...

Pretty sure if the coaches start playing we'll be in REAL trouble. Though Danny Smith may well be an upgrade at safety at this point.

I wouldn't recommend playaction, but you're right that we've got all the 'big receivers' that Ben has spent years clamouring for, but he then seems to go for AB in the end zone all the time.

Jessie James was a non-factor around the red zone as well, which is usually the go-to guy. I wonder why that was? Will have to look at the All-22 later.

No doubt, especially since Haley has never played football at any level.

Ben definitely sounds frustrated, but that wasn't the only thing he said. He also said:

“Doing this long enough, you understand not to panic. … I’m not going to hit any buttons where it’s like, ‘Oh man, what do I do to change all this and that, go see people.’ Just come out on Wednesday and be ready to practice.”

So while I'm worried about what happened, and I know Ben can be a drama queen, I do believe that he won't panic and will try to correct the problem. Just hope he'll be able to.
