Listening to Charlie Batch on the post-game show and he went into why Brown was wide open.

He explained that Brown was dead wrong since his route was supposed to be a crossing route so that Ben could see him.

Brown saw that the safety was going to beat him across and changed his route.

Ben saw the safety and thought Brown was covered, not seeing that Brown had split his route off, so he goes to his next read.

I can guarantee that becomes a sight adjust at some point as it seems the defenses have that play figured out.

Keep an eye out for the same personnel and grouping then Ben rolling out right and throwing all the way back for Brown this year.

Still, he was open. I liked his passion. Wish more players shared his heart

Full on diva, and when he smacked Haleys hand away, he should have gotten chewed out big time. That's your coach.

Agree. I get that he's passionate, but this isn't the first time we've seen AB in full out b!tch mode. I just wish he'd grow the hell up.

Then Ben forces it to him in triple coverage and he almost get's killed. Then gives him a pitty reception and then the interception bs so could have been 7 for the Ravens.

Too many divas. I understand why Ben wants to retire. It's too much.

Big time overreaction...it's not like it was a designed play and he was open..it was basically a scramble move and Ben was kinda feeling the pressure. I think when AB sees how poorly he reacted he will let those involved know he messed up...

Im actually impressed with Haley there. Think he must be mellowing out. Once upon a time he would have flipped his wig over that.

Like I said in another thread, I want him to have passion, but to do it in a way that doesn't make him look like he's 4 years old.

If I was the coach I would have sat him for a full quarter. Next time would have been the entire game

once they look at the tape and he sees Ben throwing before he gets open he will realize how stupid the tantrum really was

    He ran the wrong route.

Maybe we should put that route in.

Whether he's covered or not, Brown probably get the most opportunities to catch passes in the NFL. Your not always gonna get he ball thrown your way 100% of the time. Ben was hurried, didn't see him ..let's hope it don't happen too often

It also looks like he mouthed off a bit to Haley too. I can see these tantrums happening again especially with how comfortable Ben is getting with Schuster.

Sometimes people just need to let it out. He was frustrated and needed to get the bad energy out on the sideline and not let it carry back onto the field. As someone who competed for a living, I can totally understand that.

I didn't like that he slapped Haley's hand away, but he didn't see who it was. He got grabbed from behind and he just swiped their hand away. Doesn't make it right, but it's not like he's throwing at his coaches out there.

At the end of the day it was a minute of emotion and it is over with. It obviously wasn't taken as a big deal by anyone other than on the message board. AB will have a huge game soon and it will all be forgotten haha

I'm afraid it is more likely we will see this again if he has more 4 catch games with minimal yardage. Soon we are gonna find out if he care more about personal stats or team success...

    Same here.

Just saw the entirety of that play. Brown can be upset and does have every right to be.

However, lashing out is not going to increase one's chances of greater contribution.
