Amen! I can't wait for all these "Bell is washed up, the league had caught up to his style, he has a bad attitude, blah, blah, blah" people to shut up when he busts out for one of his 150+ rushing 80+ receiving days.

Of course, they won't. Then it will just be how it would have happened sooner if he were in camp bs

Btw..I reserve my right as a fan to go completely overreact to the slightest thing the next time we lose

The early part of the season can turn out to be meaningless. For instance, if we finish the last 3 games of the season like KC is playing now, make the playoffs, and our competition is all banged up and has no momentum, we would take that over a fast start to the beginning of the season.

So yeah, no need to hit the panic button....yet. However, I have to admit it looks bad right now.

So he's still an elite QB? Let's be honest here: This team is a Jets upset of the Pats away ( 2010) from being nearly ten years off a sb. This guy is a prima dona and loves the spotlight. If he struggles in Baltimore, bench his ass.

Actually he's been horrific this season. If he were in NE, his ass would be benched. Then again, NE coached teams wouldn't get beat by the Bears, Raiders ( 13), Bucs in 14, Mallet led football teams. We may hate them, but they've been alot more successful than this franchise.

I'll take 500 for over the top exaggerating, Alex.

He hasn't been sharp but he's been far from horrific.

Who are you benching him for? Landry? Dobbs?

In my opinion he still has what it takes. I think he's got a little magic left. If we can get the force feeding of babies issue settled, then we might see the O turn around. Overloading Bell, and pumping up AB's stats ain't gonna solve it. Nor is playing stupid formation ball and we've seen a lot of that in just 3 games. Take what the D gives you... Change formations up instead of going empty on a short field and try to smash em in the mouth every now and then. Get Conner involved, get your 2 and 3 TE sets involved and see what you got?

Get folks involved and mix it up. Use the able bodied personnel and formations to create the decoys and the PA, etc... Quit going for broke on 3rd and short and 3rd and manageable. Quit running delays out of shotgun formations, quit lining Bell up as a wide and leaving the backfield empty.... They didn't utilize Williams right just saved him. They're not using our other 2 backs right either. Just saving them for whenever Bell is ran into the ground again I guess.

They have the personnel to mix things up and be creative more so then ever and it seems like refusal. Change some **** up and maybe Ben doesn't feel like he has to press so much.

Quit buying into the paper stat that you have an O to hide Your young and growing D. Can this Offense score 30+ agame? I believe they can and do so easily, but you can't running the same old dumb **** onto the field week in and week out. They've been predictable for far too long and it's just not gonna work. Butler needs to shake some stuff up and challenge his men as well. Mix up your coverages... When a team is gonna telegraph what they're gonna do, then adjust!

That's the problem they have here, no adjustment and ultimately that leads to all of the execution talk ad nauseum. Other teams are getting paid to execute as well and will fail so time to time as do our boys. However, simple adjustments can fix running your head into the same old wall Time and time again. Simply put, if a screwdriver ain't driving your nail into a fence try a friggin hammer! And if that hammer don't drive a screw go to the cordless damn screw driver!

Adjustments, adjustments and more adjustments.... Adjustments on the fly is what they need but they can't even do it at the half!

Sorry, not can't... Just simply refuse to and then rely on old execution as the word of the day.

Bens sandlot days are few and far between, and none of us can figure out if it's him or Haley... But ultimately, a little this a little that could really make the O's paper myth pop into reality.

He has what it takes as long as it's not against hoodie or Brady. Let's be honest here: They don't go to the SB in 2010 if the Jets do them a favor.

Denver has beaten Brady a whack of times. Ditto Baltimore and Giants. It boggles the mind that he can continue to carve up this D ( Even when Troy and company were around).

Only Denver has had more success against NE then other teams. Thats because of the Mile High factor, Im betting Brady doesn't acclimate too well up there. They beat them 8 times in the Brady era, 6 of those losses came at Mile High.

Raven and Giants have beaten NE the same amount of times as the Steelers have, 3.

Steelers beat Brady halloween 04 and 2011. Both at home. When was the other time? 08 was against Cassell.

Ok. So holding a 3-2 edge is beating NE a "whack" more times than Pittsburgh has?

The Pats still have a great O. Carolina played very well in zone coverage , but Brady got it figured out . The Falcons played them very well and then Brady got it figured out .

Brady is just to good to play the same coverage to many times he will eventually find the weakness and exploit it .

We have not been able to mix in enough man against them and he has carved us up . If we can play more man we have a great chance to slow this 0 .

Joe Flacco has done something BB hasn't done ever....beat NE in Foxboro against Brady. Twice...in the playoffs....

I'm not talking about beating just the Patriots. Im talking about beating Brady.

Fact is no one has a lot of success against NE in the Brady era. You tried to make it sound like Rats and Giants beat them a ton. They haven't.

Denver and their mile high advantage have done well, thats it.

    The team is fine.

Bell is starting to look better. Him not taking snaps with the team during training and missing pre-season have created a lack of orchestration with the O-Line. Also, he's not in top shape. He started looking better against the Ravens.

I do sometimes question some of the coaches decisions, but I'm not a coach, so... :lolol:

Overall, I think the team is on a good track entering the second quarter of the season.

in theory man works but if that’s all we do they will adjust and beat us. Got to mix it up and make Brady uncomfortable the whole game, easier said than done

I agree. But it would be great to start in man and build a lead disrupt the timing and then go zone and zone/man and be able to go back to man if they ever got the game within striking distance again . One thing that will never work is allowing them to keep the timing and be able to adjust as the game goes on. This is why I lean to man first, beat the route runners up and beat Brady up early then go zone after.

If the Steelers defense is turning into the one we hope, it will be the best equipped it has ever been to take down Brady. We actually have several decent cover corners and we seem to be getting great pass rush without sending the house. That is what we need. If we can get into Brady's face he is human.

Plus their defense might suck so maybe we can simply outscore them.

Time to win a SB. Nearly ten years is unacceptable for this organization. Pittsburgh needs a champion again!!
