So who sits? It has to be between Rogers and DHB. To me it makes more sense to sit DHB. Rogers brings more on the field. We have a lot of guys that can play specials now though Hunter does not. It’s going to be interesting to see. If it is Rogers it will also be interesting to see how he handles it. We all now DHB will be a pro about it.

Rogers is going to sit. JuJu has been taking snaps from him.

So you have AB returning punts again?

Im fine with that. Eli's gaffe was a huge blunder.

Or put someone else back there. Eli is not an integral part of this team.

I personally have not seen much from Juju yet. Perhaps I am just blind, but I feel like Rogers is a better WR this year than last year. Overall though, I am disappointed with our passing game. I thought haveing Bryant back was going to be huge. I think he has been fine, but we just don't move the ball like we did before. Even last year with Brown/Eli/Hamilton as our top three, it seemed like our offense was better.

I will note, they don't seem to be using Bell in the passing game as much any more. I don't know what's up, but I hope the offense gets better.Even if we have to just feed Brown.

Bryant hasn't practiced yet this week (illness), so maybe he's the one that has to sit. Hopefully not.

Danny Smith said today that Rogers is the punt returner.

It's his first season, 3 games in. JuJu is going to be a big part of this offense. They are putting a lot on his plate, Ben says he is gobbling it all up. They are lining him up all over, even in TE formations. When he gets rolling, fans are going to love him.

Good point, I did see he was under the weather. I bet that's it.

Wow Ben must be lying wide awake in bed at night with cold sweats wondering how in the world he's gonna fight the temptation of throwing even more bombs this week with Hunter active.....

Honestly though I think maybe having Bryant and Hunter running deep will and should open up,the middle of the field......AB and JJSS and Rogers could have a field day....

Hopefully Ben decides to look for and hit those intermediate routes.

DHB might get benched ,but if we loose the game because of a big ST'S play then the Coaches will look like Clowns and of the Scary variety .

Nope his ST play has been way above the line .I posted the link to the Depot where he was the first guy down by 10,15 and 20 yards . That ability is huge keeping down the big plays . It matters not if he makes a tackle or not in that regard . Forcing a fair catch, forcing the returner to the help, keeping a return guy from busting big plays is very huge when we have major problems scoring the ball.

On another note he would be open on deep routes against almost any 1 on 1 coverage , but the Team is not using him . That is not his fault it is the fault of the Coaches.

I do agree that failure to use his speed and blocking ability does make our guys look like Clowns in a way , but his ability on ST'S is not replaceable .

    Good.

If Martavis cannot play, Justin Hunter can showcase what he can do and JuJu's involvement will increase exponentially. This in turn, will increase JuJu's learning curve; augmented even more due to the rivalry.

Eli Rogers' snap count has decreased weekly anyway. Increasing JuJu's participation needs to be top priority.

We did lose a game to ST play. Last week.
    There goes that theory.

I am going with QB play in that one . We had plenty of chances on O, Even the QB admits to poor decision making on his part . What I am saying is if we play better overall and Bench DHB and they have their way on punt returns and kick returns .

    Theory still in effect.

For what little it's worth, Rogers looked like he completely lost the ball in the sun.

Maybe his coaches know him a little better. Hes on his 3rd team, hes not a WR. Great guy and great gunner.

    Mine is on Eli.
I think after last weeks debacle, the importance of this week's game, and Eli already losing playing time to Juju, we are going to see AB on punts and DHB still on special teams. There is no room for error and these guys are the best options at their respective positions.

Two points. His Coaches and his mates state he is the best blocking WR on the Team. Point #2 his Coaches and his mates state he is the fastest player on the Team. With that how come he is not getting snaps on a Offense that is not producing?

Could that blocking and Speed not be used ?

If he were an offensive lineman, yes. But as a receiver he is a liability.

You left out the most important part, catching the football.

Do you really think after all these years and 3 teams, no one has figured out this secret treasure? Come on man.

How many deep balls has he dropped since being hear ? How many blocks has he missed ? How has he looked om WR reverses ? How many PI has he drawn ?

His skills still have value at the WR position.
