The locker room has now become divided

Tomlin is in idiot the way he handle this

Bell is not even a shell of himself and I can't see him regainin that form

Steelers will get their head handed to them in Baltimore this week

    Ugh. This guy.

What took you so long? Our wounds were wide open 48 hours ago. Now our bodies are getting cold. You disappoint me.

The Steelers will finish at least 11-5 this season. Book it.

The Chicago game was a look into the future. As disappointed and as much as I hate to say it, this team is going no where. Its time to face reality. We might make the playoffs because we're in a ****ty division but do you honestly think we're going far into the playoff's? The key word is inconsistent. Ben is as inconsistent as ever. Tentative.slow, doesn't extend plays anymore. Bell started all this drama, got 12 mill and now is pretty much worthless. Clue:
Bears had NO passing game. How does your defense let them rush for 220 yards against us? Conclusion, many of our players are over rated and not the super stars we want to believe they are. Ben will play a great game one week, you breathe a sigh of relief, its about time he's back, then the next week he is playing like a scared rookie. The coaching staff on this team sucks, never can make adjustments. Be prepared for alot more heartache this season.
    Flame away.

I'll be worried if we still look like this come Halloween.

Until then, growing pains, and this is why you don't go soft on your starters (or hold out) the whole pre-season.

Sigh we do this every year lol, 11-5 most likely.

    2014: @cle @ nyj still made playoffs

2015: swept by raisins, killed by sea and lost to the eventual champs

2016: killed by the eagles, dolphins lost 4 in a row, then won 7 in a row to make the championship and lose to the champs.

We improved 1 round each year, and had 11,10,11 wins respectively.

This is just how our team works, once I realized that life got easier lol

Yep. And that will probably be good enough to get us a spot in wildcard weekend, maybe even a home game, and will require that we're playing another January game in Foxboro or Kansas City or Oakland or...

I hope your right and I think you are. I've got 3,000 bet on them winning more than 10 games this year. The animals need all the help they can get.

I was thinking the Steelers would lose 9-0 but now I am confident they will win by 50.

    Thanks Real!

Still thinking about sitting this one out though. I mean someone might actually spit on the flag this week. Who knows?

1 loss and this season is ruined, the chiefs went 1-5 a couple of years ago and made the playoffs with an 11-5 record, they will eventually find their groove even if they are 2-2 after this sunday........

We should all know by now that R/S should not be taking to serious. So what ever he says or said just think or believe the complete opposite and you'll be fine.

Still 99% sure this team makes playoffs. Also 99% sure I won't live to see that 7th ring. Ben is in his waning years and now I fear we will not have an elite QB for many many years.

We don't have an elite QB now. But yes, worse is likely to come.

Just conferred with Pollyanna and she says the season is NOT ruined! Even playing as lame as the Steelers have so far (per most fans) - they are today tied with 2 other 2-1 who also lost to NFC teams for the second seed in the AFC (Raiders and Bills) with KC at #1 being undefeated so far. We're ahead of Pats, Denver, Ravens, Tenn and Jacksonville who have each lost to an AFC team.

So bottom line - the cup isn't half full or half empty - it's obviously just too big!

Might have to agree with that at this point in time. Funny that a team who never played in a SB or for that matter maybe an NFC Championship game has the highest paid player in the NFL. Matt Stafford for the Detroit Lions. Just strikes me as odd.

I really hope you are wrong about Bell...I would have to admit PWP was right. I shiver at the thought! Wait, I can argue that injuries ruined his rise to the HOF ala Redman...I am saved!

A simple fact of the game .Injuries effect Football careers .Redman gave his body up to earn his chance . No one will ever know what he might have accomplished if he had remained healthy . He worked hard and gave mad effort top speed he never had similar to Bell.

The 2 RB'S are different in style as Red was a refuse to go down guy which I will always respect. And Bell is more of a make you miss style. Redman lost that ability and I believe that part of Bell's style has also been compromised . The good thing for Bell is he can still be effective just not elite where Redzone was forced to hang it up.
