You mentioned getting rid of your tickets. ( I hope you don't do that)
If you do decide to I'm looking for 4 for the Bengals game on October 22.
Hope everything works out for you.

Looks like Ben released a statement too.

“I was unable to sleep last night and want to share my thoughts and feelings on our team’s decision to remain in the tunnel for the National Anthem yesterday. The idea was to be unified as a team when so much attention is paid to things dividing our country, but I wish we approached it differently. We did not want to appear divided on the sideline with some standing and some kneeling or sitting.

As a team, it was not a protest of the flag or the Anthem. I personally don’t believe the Anthem is ever the time to make any type of protest. For me, and many others on my team and around the league, it is a tribute to those who commit to serve and protect our country, current and past, especially the ones that made the ultimate sacrifice.

I appreciate the unique diversity in my team and throughout the league and completely support the call for social change and the pursuit of true equality. Moving forward, I hope standing for the Anthem shows solidarity as a nation, that we stand united in respect for the people on the front lines protecting our freedom and keeping us safe. God bless those men and women.”

Ben and Cam did a 10 minute presser.

They confirm team will be on the field next week for anthem.

After watching the cowboys and Arizona

Is it fair to say we had the worse or most blundered protest?

I supported it at the time because I didn't want the optics of a steeler in uniform kneeling during the anthem.

Hate to give Jerry Jones credit but thought what the Cowboys did was spot on. Knelt with arms linked before the anthem. Stood for the anthem .

The optics were bad but I really dont understand the problem here. They were standing, they were just in the tunnel. What was it, the unpatriotic tunnel? I missed that sign. If they came out and kneeled, Id understand people being upset over that a little more.

Titans and Seahawks did it best. Props to Meghan Linsey too after her anthem.
They followed what the Steelers wanted to do.
Proud of the Steelers for their stand, They trend set.
Steelers were on the right track doesn't surprise me there was confusion with this teams cast of characters . Our team might not continue on but others will.

Of course, Dallas and Arizona had the benefit of seeing 30 other teams' actions and, more importantly, the fallout following them. The test is a lot easier after you get to peek at the answer key.

Pittsburgh Steelers usually do the right thing, they failed miserably last Sunday, it was horrifyingly shocking. All can be forgiven if this is a one time deal. Everyone makes mistakes, it's important to learn from those mistakes. Next Sunday I do not want to see "1" Steeler disrespecting the flag & country. On the field we expect athletes to perform, not protest on social justice issues, that should be done off the field. Because whenever you got more than half the guys giving the flag & country the middle finger, it never ever looks good. NFL has a whole bunch of idiots outta control. We expect the Pittsburgh Steelers to stand head & shoulders above the fray, like they always do, & represent proudly....
