Post-Game Loss Complaint Thread

There's a furor over someone's jock hair? What?

 

I'll complain about ben, grimble, and Hubbard. The defense played well for 60 minutes despite being completely gassed.

 

I didn't see that at all. I thought if anyone should represent the team in that matter it should be him. I had no problem with it..

 

They all should be embarrassed but they won't be. This is the first time in all my years that I'm not pissed about a Steelers loss. They earned it.

 

i know, I know he signed an extension!! Get Tomlin and Haley the Hell out of town already! Let's ask would the Pats have lost to the Bears - uh doubt it! Haley almost beat us in the Super Bowl. HOW??
Where was Harrison? Forget the officiating, I am one, I know it was terrible! We were never in this game! Rooney hire Chris Peterson from Washington (college) he has smarts.
I said in 2012 after the loss to Tebow; everyone to a man with coach in front of their name would be out of work when the plane landed! Yes, I know he (Tomlin) hasn't had a losing season, I don't give a hoot! He's not in control!

Defense - Chick was abused in running game.. kid might have a good motor but he can't hold up against the run.... Deebo needs to be back on the field

The entire run defense was bad.. but they were targeting chick IMO

Offense - The Steelers probably win this game if Eli Rogers simply ran to the bench everytime the ball was snapped. Fair catch Rogers was not even a non factor... he was a negative factor

Coaching - Hey coach... they are going to run the ball... just a little heads up... yep gonna run it again....uh huh. Next play.. still going to run



This Steeler team is to good to be this bad.

Saw the last bit of overtime after the call was reversed. Saw Burns get mauled on the TD. Game Over. Glad I didn't see the whole game. And to blame the beginning for the ending is just pointless, if you know what i'm saying. Keep your politics for other message boards.

 

A 3 man rush and you get sacked. That sums up this game.

 

Poor execution in all three phases. Embarrassing performance all around. Hopefully we use this to figure out a solid gameplan and destroy the Ravens next week. If we beat them convincingly I will pretend today never happened.

Steelers: no! take it back! *starts dancing*

Bears: no im serious, we are 0-2 and we just wanted to be competitive

Steelers: "Bell: we be in windy city, i be running for a hundy, nobody can stop me... 4 td's like al bundy"

Bears: you sure? I don't think you are serious, here... take the game back for reals.

Steelers: *players dancing to bell's rap while humping the air*

Bears: ok then, *wins the game*

 

I didn't have a problem with the officiating. The RB's knee was clearly down before he fumbled and I didn't think Cohen stepped out tbh. 2 blown calls in our favor. If you're waiting on the refs to win you a game then you shouldn't be proud of your efforts on the field.

My complaint is the deep shots down the field. Too many low percentage throws when driving down the field is more apt to give you success. Don't know if that's Haley or Ben calling it at the line, but I'm getting tired of starting out in a hole on down/distance or squandering possessions.

 

Not a good weekend for pick em thats for sure!!!!

 

The Steelers were Chicken **** to stay in the tunnel for the anthem.

 

I think it was the 40 mph win and rain night game in Cleveland where Ben decided he needed to pass the whole game. This one moved up past the SB against the Packers where they had the worst run defense in a SB ever and the game plan was to let Ben win the MVP by surprising them and passing and turned the ball over twice with points to start the game.

Today's was just mind numbing, no extra lineman help, no two te sets, no FB, no short passing game it was as if they only practiced that 3 Wr, 1 TE set and had no plays for anything else. No screens, no slants, no power, it was like a scripted loss.

 

I was calling for JH92 all game, not sure why they are resistant to put him in and try to get a spark or stop the bleeding.

 

Still waiting for Bell to break out. I'm not buying the rust talk anymore!

 

Just saw a holding call on the Titans that was more subtle than the ones they missed in that OT drive...

 

I think he just lost "it"

 

This team needs to really do some soul searching!!! Can't wrap up tackle always trying to go for the knock out , Ben trying to get his self killed by holding onto the ball to long!!!

 

Let me say today and all the extra junk made me take my blinders off when it comes to the steelers. I will always blame players before coaches. Its a fact. Ben isnt as good as he has been. Bottom line. I think he has already left league.

Tomlin is a good coach. Is he great probably not. I seen alot of mistakes by players today and if some believe thats on him? Then i wont argue. Gameplan however was and it sucked

They have no leadership. I am sorry. That is how u win games against poor teams in nfl. Those vets that will a team to victory. Aint got any and if u think we do, i invite u to also remove ur blinders. Ben isnt a leader. Bell and brown sure arent. Not sure heyward or shazier want to be

I think they worry more about politics these days than winning football games. They worry more about money now a days than winning football games. Hey, its a business. As much as i love football, it is what it is. This weekend will mark the downfall of the nfl

I still love the steelers but today, a small part of me changed

 

I'm already tired of Bell on the field at all. We have other quality running backs that actually want to play and win.

 

My complaint is all the stupid excuses and blaming I see on this board right now. Nobody's even acting like they've been here before.
It's early in the season, a road game against an NFC team. We all know they'll go into the lab tomorrow and figure this out.

This happens to us every year, we're always a late season team. You can make all kinds of different excuses for this game but not one of them is a clear pin in why the game went the way it did today.

Everybody just needs to take a step back and relax. If our injuries aren't too bad today, this game is fairly inconsequential. If anything games like this should help us down the road.

So quit all this "Ben Needs to retire" and "So and So needs to be fired" I'm embarrassed for all of you I hope you're not talking to other fans with that garbage.

I really don't think this team is as good as everyone thinks except for AB. 3 games now and Bell still sucks! Love the Black and Gold but this team just isn't that good
