We are 2 and 0 right???? I didn't miss something did I???? Last year people were complaining that we lost to teams we were supposed to beat, and we are beating those teams, but not well enough???? I do understand the point of a forum is to discuss, but it seems like there is very little optimism. A lot of "fans" bashing as opposed to discussing. We scored plenty of points against a very good defense. I would say it is a top 5 defense. Our offense scored a TD in the redzone, which they didn't do that well last year, and Ben got sacked once I think. Bell didn't have a great game but out line did win the battle on offense. I understand that we are not in mid season form and all but geez we are winning games. At least this year when we play down to the competition we win.

    ;)

Yea but only one of those 3 teams can win the division and 2 of them can't finish ahead of the Steelers if they win the division. So we only need to have a better record then one of those 3 teams in the West for possible homefield or a bye week in the playoffs.

Steelers offense is overrated. Big time. The defense has been fortunate to play against a rookie QB and a backup. As Bill Parcells said back in the day and this applies to the Steelers in '17... "We are flying a burning plane."

I hope you're right... but I've seen enough of Tomlin, coaching staff and Steelers team's epic underachievements over the past 4 years to not get my hopes up. It's a trend... not an occasional occurrence when the Steelers lose to teams they should beat. I blame the players more than the coaches. It's easy to blame Tomlin, but he's not one out there executing the plays and playing defense. The players are the ones who need to block better, catch better, tackle better, cover better and throw better against teams they should beat. It's not happened yet. Hope it does, soon, because time is running out and #7 is going to retire.

2014: Tampa Bay, Cleveland and NYJ
    2015: Ravens with backup QB
2016: Eagles with rookie QB, Dolphins

In 2014... a 14-2 record could have been achieved with #1 seed in the AFC.
In 2015... I give them a pass, because of so many injuries to key players... but the loss to Mallet and Ravens was unacceptable. With Flacco starting... I wouldn't have raised a fuss.
In 2016... a 13-3 record was possible and #2 seed, which would have made a difference. One less game before AFC Championship and Bell might have been healthy for entire game vs. Patriots.

2014 was the best chance, in my opinion, for a Steelers 7th NFL Championship and they blew it by losing to bottom feeders in the regular season.
