Ben wants it loud and to have the fans making Hienz a feared house to play in again. RiSE up Steeter Nation. Wave the Towel, wake the Echoes. Winter is Coming!

    Link?

But I agree 100%. I've been saying it for years. Hasn't been no real home field advantage at Heinz Field in almost a decade. This weekend is a 1pm game too? It will be a morgue. Maybe a little better since it's the home opener but still. Browns bench and fans goated some of the calls last weekend. 2 years ago we just let the refs screw us in the playoffs against the Ravens.

I think Ben means not just the fans but the team as well.

Pittsburgh has not won more than six regular season home games since 2011. That has to change if Pittsburgh is to ascend the stairway that leads to seven.

If he wants it loud then the fans need to resurrect the ghost of TRS. Bring it up from under the parking lot and take it straight into Heinz Field.

Good luck with that though. That's a hard chore.

I've only ever been to Heinz Field and Gilette stadium so I can't really compare other venues.

The biggest difference I notice between Pittsburgh and Foxboro is that not many people are standing in Heinz field, other than for TDs or big defensive 3rd downs.

Over the past 3 trips to Heinz field I've lost count of how many times I've heard people yelling at others to Sit Down.

I've been to Foxboro 4 times and I haven't sat down once.

Heinz is obviously newer and more modern and all that, but when it comes to intimitation, it can't hold a candle to old 3RS, not even close. Heinz open end lets all the noise escape; sure, pretty city view but stupid strategy in the design when it comes to winning. 3RS was so loud that you could literally FEEL the noise in your body at the game - that never happens at Heinz. 3RS was ****ty on the players bodies though. That field was basically concrete painted green.

They only lost 2 games at home last season.

Game one to the Patriots, minus Big Ben playing.
Game two to the Cowboys. Which should of been a win up until the defense let Elliott run untouched into the endzone. Still makes me mad.

Heinz is still a pretty tough place to play.

It's like the Igloo and PPG Paints. But I'm not buying that watch Renegade videos from like 08, 09 and this one

    vs.

Atmosphere has clearly died down over the last few years. Like I always say, day games aren't fun at all either.

You win games on the grass with mistake free football and a clear vision. Steelers need to light the candle early and put points on the board and the fans will do the rest. Sammy and Company will arrive with their guns locked and loaded.

    :herewego!:

Ive been to the old Vet, Ravens Stadium, and Heinz Field.

Ravens Stadium is louder... its just the way it was designed.

I agree Heinz Field hasn't been loud the last couple years... I think it is because our defense isn't as intimidating as it used to be, and they legistated the big hits out of the game.

Maybe Ben should score a lot of points, if he wants the fans to be loud.

It also helps when you showcase some pride in your team and not degrade them by calling them a "little brother" to another.

I love Renegade and it's a great get you motivated song, but we need a new fight song to go with this new generation of players and team. Imao Renegade had a certain significants to that decade of players and their playing style, that doesn't connect to the players of lately. Well probably never have players like Polamalu, Farrior, Ward, etc that sacrificed their body's on a regular bases and alot of times that sacrifice won us ball games. Your thoughts!!!

You and Mac are so old school that you remember the days when fight songs were played by minstrels.
