LJ Fort to be cut

    Looking at this optimistically could Tuitts injury only cause him to miss a few games and we need DL until then?

    That's unfortunate. I like Fort.

    Yes I assume we will bring on a DL guy until Tuitt comes back.

    I wonder if we bring back Fort at that time.

    I like L.J., so I'm kind of surprised. Not a fan of this cut. Does he have PS eligibility?

    If it was a move to shore up the run blocking they would probably cut grimble. I would prefer to see moats cut over fort, but with Dupree injured yet once again that won't happen. My bet is Fort is being cut to make room for Hooks.

    Lavon Hooks would be my guess. Not sure if there are others the Steelers are considering currently.

    I believe Fort is still p.s eligible, but I would have definitely cut moats over exposing Fort the p.s

    What about safety? Mitchell and Wilcox both got hurt. Maybe the call up is for Hagen. I haven't seen the extent of injury though for either.

    Fort played well enough in preseason to warrant a roster spot in my opinion. That bubble is a tough place to be though.

    Wilcox cleared concussion protocol. Mitchell was not listed or mentioned as hurt.

    I've been wrong before however.

    That bubble is a tough place to be though.

    Probably would have made the cut if he learned how to catch the screen off of it. Haley loves him some bubble screens.

    Are you sure? I can't see it confirmed anywhere else. How reliable a source is this guy? Just wondering since we just released another LB recently and we would now have no backup to Shazier...

    Dumb. I thought the DL rotation would work fine, not best case, until tuitt returns. I liked his speed, and we need as much LB depth as we can get.
