I hope the Steelers are watching closely. There is no reason that they can't light up this Patriots defense, too.

    • One thing to note, even in an off game, NE got 27 points. We have to score over 30 points when we play them.

Chiefs defense played a great game tonight, and Alex Smith was the best QB on the field. That is the winning formula, it's that simple.

    Doubt it.

Go back and check out some of Brady's passes.

He will catch his second wind but he will lose it come playoff time.

So, since there's only been one game played, and everyone else is 0-0, the Patriots are currently the worst team in the NFL.

It'll help if we can have a competent receiver other than Brown playing against them next time!

I want to see their secondary stop Brown, Bell, Bryant, AND Rogers.

I am in absolute, total shock this morning. I turned the TV off last night at halftime and figured the Patriots had it wrapped up, since they usually explode on offense in the 2nd half. Looking at the highlights, the Chiefs got themselves a good RB in Hunt.

Looks like the Patriots will have to settle for 15-1.:icon mrgreen:

This AFC loss for the Patriots is great for the Steelers in the BCS race that is the AFC playoff hunt, but let's not fool ourselves. The Patriots have 6 victories in the bag already, even if Tom Brady gets benched. Jets, Bills and Dolphins are that bad.

They are going to need those easy wins. They have to go to NO next week, at home vs the texans, at home versus the Panthers, a revenge game against the Falcons next month and the rest of the AFC west one after the other in November. The schedule makers have challenged them..

I wonder if the Patriots boards are lighting up with Brady needs to go, Fire Belicheat, I worried about our team, Belicheat needs to fire the OC and DC, we will only win if..., I'm predicting an 8-8 season, we will get crushed by..., the chiefs are our big brother, our secondary sucks, our D-line can't get pressure (which they really couldn't lol), and I'M WORRIED ABOUT THIS SEASON. Did I forget anything?

Brady`s numbers were bad, but I watched the whole game and the Death Star is far from powerless. They started off the game looking invincible. IMO, their offense is still intact, just a little off because of the injuries. They still scored 27 points.

They lost because Alex Smith had the best game of his career and the Chiefs have a couple young dynamic players on offense and the defense had two huge 4th down stops. Also noticed in the second half of the game they got some pressure on Brady. Keep an eye on those injuries from last night.

Anyway, bottom line is it was a good night for Steeler Nation.
