    3rd safety for nickel and possibly a kick returner. Plus just depth at a weak position.

    I'm thinking he was brought in to replace Mike Mitchell because maybe something is physically wrong with Mitchell. Is Mitchell gonna be ready for week 1 because he has not practice or played a pre-season snap yet?? Once Mitchell get healthy, maybe they'll cut Dangerfield ...am I wrong??

    Mike say he be ready for week 1 so who knows at this point ? I think they would like to keep mike though if healthy enough of course,

    As I stated in previous threads, I didn't think we were done dealing. If this player is an
    upgrade to Golden, Dangerfield, davis or Mitchell than we have improved our team and that is
    what it is all about.

    I was gonna start a thread about this, man it feels good to see our team making moves. We sit here on draft weekend and not much happens in Steelerville while other teams make trades and move up and down. It just isn't the Steeler way and I get that but to see what has went on this last week was great. We had a weakness at DB they went for it, we had extra WR's and DB's we dealt them....love it!!!!

    I am happy with what we are doing. Upgraded, if not increased depth for secondary, got a TE in which green was supposed to fill. Got some extra trash picks. You really can't complain

    My cowboys friend says he is a free safety. Hard hitter who can tackle but coverage can be a weakness. That's fine, he's another Mitchell but can tackle
