Yeah when he blew that pass play up with that sack I was like "DAAAANG!" I mean that dude was in the backfield QUICK too! Gravedigger looked great to me too. I love that dude. I generally felt pretty good about the front last night and that was even without Tuitt wasn't it?

 

Either way we would be keeping a project QB on the 53 man roster.....I hear what your saying I feel like having 3 is mostly a waste too but it's the norm for the whole league...

 

Tuitt played last night, The had some great push from the starting 3 and solid play on the outside with Moats and Watt so it makes you just hungry to see Dupree and Harrison out there with them as well.

 

Not impressed with Nile Davis.

Looked like they were sending Dirty Red on blitz's in the second.

I do like the lively legs by Dobbs if needed. You could tell he was a little nervous and not really making his reads early. The pick to the ILB wasn't totally on him. Toussaint needed to not adjust his route because of the ILB and at least cause the drop. You could see he saw him and angled away to avoid the collision. Preseason game, so let that slide.

Hamilton may not be flashy, but he seems to be able to get into a window when needed. W

 

The first big run by the Giants highlighted why Vince Williams worries me a bit. He got excited to stuff the run, guessed and rushed into his gap where he got swallowed up and missed on the play. Wasn't to big a deal since Red did the same thing and we can chalk it up to first series, first game of the year jeeters because he settled down afterwards. He is one of those guys those like Mitchell that will cover up for guessing wrong by making a big thump or over doing things like instead of wrapping a guy up he will throw his body at them. Just an observation.

 

It is ok with me. I put steeler radio on and listened to Tunch, Billy and Wolfman Jack LOL. Radio was a play and a half behind though on the live cut ins

 

that was a DE dropping into coverage from the other side of the formation. not FT's fault there either.

 

I didn't notice Tuitt but I'm glad he was out there.

 

Anyone focus on Jerald Hawkins #65? I saw him briefly but never got to watch him closely. Curious to see how he did..

 

I wish we would have done more man to man. This is critical!!! How else are we going to defeat New England.

Injuries to DBs pushed somewhat back to zone.

 

They won't do it, Dobbs will be the #3 QB inactive on gameday. Remember on here we would complain why they would never put Landry on the PS.

 

I wanted Watt out of the game in the 4th qtr, but there were too many injuries at OLB he had to play mostly the entire second half.

 

No NFL team plays man much more than half the time.

We'll see more this year, but don't expect constant cover 0.

Yeah, but regular game he's got to see that and disrupt the catch at least. He avoided it (actually adjusted deeper). Forgive him in Preseason a little, but it's got to be instinct.
