Awesome news! Next up is Tuitt. If Bell isn't careful he's going to be looking a lot like mike Wallace did a few years back.

Bell not signing has nothing to do with this. The contract offered was for around the amount he is getting with the tag.

    AV was next up regardless.

    Tuiit should be next.

Wouldn't the prorated signing bonus have an affect? I'm not a cap guy, just wondering. In any case, awesome AV, get into camp and get working. :yeehaw:

We didn't owe Big Al anything... Only 2 yrs here playing, the exclusive tender this yr and next and tag after that...... Yet the Steeles stepped up and paid the man anyway. One more reason why I Love this Team!!

Guy is a great story, very deserving. If he keeps playing at the level he is at or his ceiling keeps going up, he is worth it. 6 million a year for a decent LT is a steal in today's NFL. Congrats to AL V!!!!!!

    Four years...$26 million?

Why don't you follow the lead of that classic franchise the LA, née SD, Chargers and give your left tackle a 4 year, $53 million dollar contract?

    Man, Pittsburgh does thing differently.;)
