Would Veteran LB David Harris be a good fit for our defense much like Jame Farrior in the past. The added veteran leadership and depth is needed. Harris was also number 2 all time tackler for the Jets. With lost of Timmons whom led our team last year in tackles this maybe great plug in.

No thanks. The guy has already played in the league for 10 years. His best days are long gone.

At this point, I would think we are set until camp opens. If an intriguing vet is cut then, we might make a pick up. Particularly at DB.

Despite what has been written, I would not completely eliminate the possibility of Darrell Revis popping up.

tackling machine, I like the dude but what are you gaining over VW98? Guy will be in his 11th year or something. You're not getting more athletic which is the way they want to go imo. VW98 has the locker room and bringing in Harris would not be a huge upgrade for the money.

Revis wont be popping up for any team for less than a 7- 8 mill 1 year contract, he gets paid 6 mill this year from the jets for not signing with a team, so he wont be signing for 6 mill or less otherwise he would lose his 6 mill from the jets and be playing for free, I expect him to sit out this season....

If Revis' asking price is not met, Florio reports, Revis will likely sit out the season and receive $6 million in guaranteed money from the Jets. The reason: If Revis signs with a team for $6 million, New York would owe him nothing because of offset language in Revis' Jets contract. Revis would not gain any extra salary. If he signs for $7 million, he would get just an extra $1 million in salary for the season.
