How do YOU feel about our Steelers upcoming season?

Josh McDaniels has Tomlin's game down.. We have to change our D to confuse him. Ben needs to keep Brady off the field. We should have two cracks at them again this year. Lets see what changes.

 

Nervous but excited. The window has been open for us the last 2 to 3 years to win a Superbowl, but injuries, suspensions and stupid losses during the season stopped us. This is it. We have to get over the hump and do it within the next 2 years or it could be a decade before we see it again.

No injuries, no suspensions. Need to win the games we are supposed to win. Win 13 to 14 games and get home field throughout the playoffs. I believe we could beat NE at home in the playoffs this year. I think that is the recipe to win another Superbowl.

 

On paper we should have a solid if not great team. However, on paper isn't worth a hill of beans. We still have to get through ota's, minicamp, training camp, and 4 preseason games before we know the makeup of the 2017 team. TL/DR too early to tell

 

It's easy. Ben plays 19 games, we go 16- 3 and win it all. If he misses three or four we will fight for our playoff lives. I still think the defense will play at a top 10 or 12 level and with this offense that's good enough

 

I see 11-5 or 12-4 record.

 

It's always exciting at this point after the draft & everyone is healthy & not suspended yet. I will be really really excited if players like (CB,6'3")Brian Allen, Cameron Sutton, Coty Sensabaugh, (S,6'3")Jacob Hagen, TJ Watt, (WR, 6'4")Justin Hunter, & JuJu Smith-Schuster can contribute. Also I have a feeling Tyson Alualu & Knile Davis is gonna be special for us...

 

Anything less than 12-4 will be considered a disappointment.

11- 5 No SB this year but I hope I'm wrong.

 

11-5 will win this division so it's still possible to win the SB, after all they had an 11-5 record in 05 and won the SB as a wildcard, but they need to be thinking about a 1 or 2 seed this year and get that bye week in the playoffs.....

 

10-6. Ben will miss at least a couple of games and the D is still quite suspect.

 

I was only predicting regular season record.

 

At least give them a chance to prove they didn't match up, most of these players have been playing ball since they were
6 years old, they know what is required. Better than have Brady & company play pitch and catch which they did and TOTALLY
destroyed us. Thanks MT. Unprepared again.When will it end?

 

Gotta stay healthy. If we can keep our key guys in the lineup there's no reason why we can't go 12-4 or better and win it all.

 

I love the Steelers. Having said that I'm realistic. I cringe at the thought that Ben is no longer the QB however, I've been disappointed overall with Ben the last 6 or 7 years. He never reached that top level that I was hoping for. Our defense is average at best and if we can't pressure the opposing QB, we're in for another long season. We need to win SB now.

 

Disappointment followed by elation?

 

Wrong again, duh they did play some man coverage early in the game and they couldn't cover. Butler needs to turn up the heat and get after Brady, instead of having his OLBs drop into coverage.

 

11-5 for me.


Defense will gel even better than they did last season for a late season surge exceeding what we saw.
