Damion Stafford from the Titans, he does have some starting experience also played a lot on special teams.

I saw this earlier today but hadn't had time to look in to it yet. It's gonna be a riveting camp deciding who gets to be the new longsnapper.

He started 8 games in 4 years, his career stats arent impressive, he does have good size 6-1 218, drafted 2013 round 7 pick 248 he fell big in the draft after a poor combine performance, if Lebeau let him go you have to wonder if he has any starter potential or not, the steelers think he does, we will find out in camp I guess???

I don't expect him to start for the Steelers, just a signing for depth he might be a improvement over Golden though.

Unless Stafford can play ST, he won't be replacing Golden. I don't envision Stafford making the roster...

Actually stafford is a good special teamer, in his first 3 seasons he led the titans in tackles on ST....

The more I look into staffords background the more I like, he is a hard hitting safety by all accounts and a sure tackler and for sure a good if not better than good special teamer, he's a strong safety and will add solid depth and be better than Golden, if he had a better 40 time he could probably play the FS position, but all in all I like the fact they signed him.....

If Stafford is a keeper, then Golden or Dangerfield could be released.

Having two captains is usually better than one.

That being said, I believe Dangerfield is the odd man out.
