    Falcons
    Saints
    Patriots
    Packers
    Cowboys

Top 5 in ppg last year. We were 10th tied with buffalo in 24.9ppg.

We are stacked ridiculously with talent in offense. AB, Bell, Huge Benjamin, Bryant, Rogers, healthy Green. Not to mention James and additions juju fruit and Conner to back bell. Top 3 O line.

Red zone red zone red zone.

Who will finally seal the deal for our red zone woes?

I'm excited for this offense and I want to see 30-40 points a game no less.

Killer offense, fast defense, kill opposing qb.

Great things for this 2017 squad, doing it for Rooney.

13-3 with a pats championship rematch but close loss this time ;)

I would agree to some extent. We should score more, and scoring 30 should be cake with our players.

Ju Ju, Bryant, and a healthy Green should help. We need to be willing to switch to Power Run in the Redzone at times too.

If you remove the 3 games in a row, mid season, when Ben was injured... Miami when Ben was injured, NE when Ben didn't play, and Bal when Ben came back to early... then we averaged 27.2 points per game. Which would be 4th in the league.

Now, add in Bryant... and red zone weapons in JuJu and Conner... and a full season of Bell.

    How is our offense overrated?

JuJu? Seriously folks? :roflmao: This guy will rot the bench until week 10, unless there's an injury. Write it down.

Steelers like Bell and Brown are great for fantasy stats... but when it comes big games, they fold like a cheap tent. Until I see otherwise... that's my viewpoint and I'm sticking with it.

Raiders, Patriots (obviously), Cowboys, Falcons, Seahawks and Packers all have better offenses than the Steelers.

Chargers would be better if Rivers had any kind of help... likewise with Saints and Brees. Redskins would be deadly if they had a consistent QB. Texans and Broncos... see Redskins.

Something can be overrated or underrated but I've never heard of anything ever being just rated. That team is so rated.

JuJu Smith Schuster was not drafted for the sole purpose of being just a mulit arrary of contingency plans.

Yep. He is a chain moving possession type of receiver. His blocking ability is also second to none in the class. He may not be a burner like Coates or Bryant but he is the "Steady Eddie" we need to solidify the corps.

I hope their plans with Conner aren't just a short yardage back and late game replacement for Bell. I would love to see him shed some weight like LB and be a viable option to use them both on the field at the same time....I feel the attention Bell will get will make Conner more of a weapon.

As a whole the offense needs to execute better in the red zone and the play calling needs to improve as well....way too many head scratching moments the past few years. Sometimes the running game gets us down there and then we forget that....Most times the QBs decision making is the difference between 3s or 6s...

If only we could get a consistent same time appearance. Didn't see much of it with D will and Bell... Granted both had there downtime but it just didn't appear Haley is into that notion and I really don't know why.

Many arguements here about reducing Bell's touches and both sides have legitimate views especially with Bell being needed the most and exiting stage right ever since he's been here it seems.

Hopefully they get some good tread out of the rook and can keep bell productive, healthy and available

I think he'll see around 10-15 snaps in week 1... at some point in the season he'll surpass Rogers in snaps. He simply has more tools, better tools, more valuable tools.

It's quickly become clear that most Steelers fans are really clueless about JuJu. And simply have an overrated opinion of our WR depth (Rogers is a decent player, Coates is a replacement level player)

I so hope Bryant stays the straight and narrow. AB, Bryant and JuJu will be fun to watch. Throw in Bell coming out of the backfield, fudgeddaboudit.

Plus if Green can stay healthy, he'll be good for a 2 or 3 seam routes a game. He had what, about 360 yards in 3 games last season. Don't have much hope for him to make it through the season however. Still more than enough firepower without him.

I don't know how it can be said this offense is overrated.

if bryant can return, which is key as a #2 for us, juju can be the slot option, bell won't have to leave the backfield to split out. this leaves him covered by LB'ers which is a huge mismatch that we don't have when he splits out. bryant make no mistake is key to all this. green will be a non factor if we use eli, coates, ayers, hunter as the 4th option in a 4 wide set with bell coming out of the backfield. quit killing drives going deep on 3rd and 1 as much would also help. a consistent #2 receiver in bryant will make this all go.

Until you have coaches that can figure out red zone offense
and a qb that will execute it, steelers will always be underachievers
when it comes to scoring points, and especially in big games.
6 Fg's in KC C'mon man that is a joke.

We keep blaming the receiving corp, the rb's, the te's, the defense, if this one's health or that one's health. Look, it boils down to two things, that will get us to another ring... A Consistent Ben and our coaches not getting out coached.

I think you're drastically underestimating the impact of injuries. The offense stagnated against NE. Why? 1. Bell left the game early, leaving us with a RB who had a very different running style from the guy that our game plan was centered on. 2. with Bryant and Green gone, with Coates still playing with damaged fingers and a groin injury, DHB slowed with a foot injury, AND with Bell out of the passing game, there was literally nobody left to take the coverage focus off of AB, and NE was able to double him all day with zero threat elsewhere. We have yet to play a playoff game at even close to full strength on offense. We were in bad shape on offense health wise.

On defense it was a stink fest all around. Players and coaches alike.

Do you mean in just certain packages or at all? Because as long as he can stay healthy, I expect him to very much be a factor. He showed that in a small sample size last season. Problem is, I just don't think he'll stay healthy.

We have to solve getting receivers open when Brown is double covered. If this is Ben`s last year, I hope he tells the team so we put an extra effort to win it all. Probably JH last year too. Go for broke.
