So that pick was spoiled for me unfortunately, but I like the player. Just waaaaaaay too early for it I think.

 

I had him as an UDFA / camp arm type of guy.

 

Or we could have easily taken him much later.

Agree. Every pick has been high character and hard working players. Kind of like it.

We will see. i don't mean they are the same player...I mean they will have a similar career...and I do not even mean that as a bad thing. Wheaton is having a solid NFL career. But he is what he is...and I think the same will be said about Juju in 4 years

I'd give this draft a B so far. TJ Watt was an A. The rest I'd give a B. They might of been a lil early but they've been positions of need and high character players.

 

I hate the pick. I tried to stay positive tonight but that pick put me over the top. Bad value there IMO and ignored defense.

 

Hasn't every player who's ever been referred to on here as "we could have gotten him later" been a freaking star?

I actually like Conner. We need someone to help carry the load. Hes nowhere near as talented as bell but he can be a good player I think.

 

I just hope Butt or King keeps falling and we can get a steal in the 4th.

Seems like Mike Tomlin is giving some Steelers fans a nostalgia trip in a sense. Blue collar men who let their actions speak for themselves and not other platforms.

 

250-pound running backs with 4.7-4.8 speed aren't easy to find. Here's hoping this pick works out since I have seen Conner projected as low as 5th or 6th round.

 

Aside from last year, the front office has wasted a ton of early-round picks. Golson, Archer, Coates, Wheaton, Spence, ugh...what a disappointing day two for me.
