My guess would be lack of confidence in Coates if anyone...

Bryant is a idiot, you don't say stuff like that about a teammate keep it to yourself. I wouldn't be surprised if the Steelers try to trade Bryant.

It would be nice to see Martavis show a little bit more humility and contrition after letting the team down the way he did. Instead he disses a teammate. Lame.

The last athlete to declare that they were back was Steph Curry right before he blew that 3-1 lead:facepalm:

I bet people were saying that it might be his replacement and then because he's an incorrigible moron he inadvertently throws Coates under the bus to try and silence his critics. Although he might want to learn simple grammar before he does that. Reminds me of my 2 nephews when I was aggravating them about how good they could spell once and I said "Ok. Let's have a spelling bee." and they both agreed. So I would say to one "Ok. Spell Cat" and he would and then I'd say to the other one "Ok. Spell Antidisestablishmentarian" and obviously he couldn't and I'd say "YOU'RE A TERRIBLE SPELLER!" and finally he got mad and said "Well I can spell what you are! You're S-T-U-P-E-D!" LOL!!!!! I could see Martavis doing the same thing. He probably has tons of misspelled tats. LOL!

I think maybe we are taking this "character " trait to extremes with all our draft picks. I'm not saying field a bunch of felons like some teams we know but at the same time we aren't playing in the Mother Teresa league...while it would be great to have a roster full of choir boys it's just not realistic. We are in the business of winning football games too...I think.

Bryant might be joking around with Coates. I mean, they're probably friends.

Hate to see the lack of what could have been, but I'm good with trading his stupid ass right now.

On a brighter note, at least he seems very motivated. Marty with a chip on his shoulder is a very good thing for us.

    Sammie had hands maligned.

At least he can stay on the field Martavis.

Not what Dan Rooney wants at all. Infighting eradicates stability.

I like Watt the human...I like him a lot...I am nervous about his burst.....Had Foster already been off the board...I would not have thought twice about Watt being the pick...but a top 10 pick fell into your lap....Oh well...time will tell on that.

The 2nd rounder hurt. Nothing against JuJu....But at best....he is your 3rd WR in the slot...and thats not even taking Coates spot...thats taking over Rogers spot......so at best he is your #3 WR...at worst...he is Antonio, Martavis, Rogers, Coates, DHB, Juju.....DHB is not going anywhere short of injury....he is a special teams guy and team guy that gets respect as a lunch pail player in the locker room and front office. Plus the dude can still take the top off....and even if Juju take the spot..thats the #5 WR?

So at best Juju beats Rogers...and Rogers played pretty well last year...even if he only takes Coates spot...you just drafted a #4 WR in the second round....and when the Steelers go 4 wide.....its usually a TE or Bell

The Steelers should really not be drafting for 2018,19,20....they should be getting guys that will see the field early and often in the first 2 rounds.

So far we drafted a 2017 backup LB (but any LB we would have got would have been..not a knock on Watt...Unless he beats out James Harrison....I don't see that yet) and a backup slot WR.

    HACK

He is certainly classless for sure and that's a terrible thing to do to a teammate.

So for those wanting a Safety in rnd 2, I think Rashawn Jenkins out of Miami would be a nice pick in the mid rounds.

I am not good with trading him but Tomlin and Ben better be sure to tighten that collar around his neck.

Self centered players annihilate camaraderie. Those who show little remorse doubly so.

Being simply motivated to prove others wrong and put up stats is not my personal view of Martavis being knocked into reality. Humility and grace for him is more needed right now.
