There was a run on DBs and other interesting prospects right in front of us, so we took a slow WR

 

I don't care if he's the second coming of Hines Ward, it was a dumb pick not a priority position of need. Is there enough balls to go around?

 

I'm not doubting the kids ability....I'm just questioning the need in round 2. If we can coach them up so well then we shoulda waited...

Someone posted earlier (and I saw the same thing) that the Steelers were looking at TE for round 2. I think they were looking at offense pretty hard. I'm betting Everett was their target.

Now that I think about it I'm really not all "that" baffled. We took a corner early last year and we're not knows as some perennial corner factory anyway. Not saying I wouldn't have liked to have taken a nice db though. I'm not all that warm and fuzzy about our secondary either.

 

Do you think that these meathead fanboys at the draft would even notice if it was announced that their team drafted a player that doesn't even exist? Or would they sit there and "WOOHOOOO! YEAH!"?
