    Has Hooker @ #17.

Not that he will, but if Hooker ever got out of the top 10 I would start thinking about moving waaaay up to get him.

If he drops below 10 I would move in a heartbeat to get this player.
I don't see him dropping to below 10, but you never know , a lot
of dumb owners out there. He would be our(Earl Thomas) ball hawking safety for the next 10-12 years. Can we package players in lieu of draft choices to entice a a trading partner in the 10-15 range?

Trading up to the teens is really expensive. It would probably take our 2nd and a 3rd, or 2nd and 4th and 5th to get to the bottom of the teens. To get higher would probably take our 2018 1st (which would be massively dumb IMO for a team that may be looking for a franchise QB next year).

I don't think he would be worth what we would have to give up. I mean u would have to sacrifice probably 2 or 3 guys who will be able to help immediately.

If we could move up for a third and fourth and get a fifth back, maybe. I think we just need the picks.jmo

First, second and 4th, per the trade chart. Or first this year, first next year.

    Take your poison.

I took a quick look and came up with 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th to get to #17.

    Pick #17- 950 points

Pick #30- 620 points + Pick 62- 284 points (904) + pick 126- 46 Points (950). Course, I'm not sure what happens with the compensatory picks point wise, which would effect 4th round value, so you may be right.

It does. There are a lot of 3rd round comp picks.

To tell you the truth, he's just throwing darts at the draft board, he has us taking wide receiver Zay Jones from East Carolina at 30, and that just isnt going to happen in my opinion....

Looked like an absolute terrible mock. I've seen a few lately. There's one on CBS that had Jarrad Davis going to 2 different teams and had us passing on Peppers and Obi to take Carl Lawson. :lolol:

I would never give up what it would take to get Hooker. I like him but not at that price.

I would trade Martavious Bryant, Cockrell & Mitchell to entice
    trading partner.

I heard Kiper on the radio today and he said he thought John Ross at #30 would be a option, not interested in that at all.

The only way that makes sense is if you have a trade of Bryant in place.

Since his college season ended, Hooker has had two surgeries, Labrum, and Hernia, might not be the same guy everyone thinks he is after surgery....

He is better, the upside is out of this world. True 5 star athlete Ed Reed playmaking ability

It's possible. Teams will have to do their homework. If he checks out, then you can change your defensive scheme and built your entire defense around him.

Based on what, 1 season as a starter, didnt make the combine, everyone knocks watt for having 1 season as an edge rusher and yet are willing to over look hookers 1 season start, I'm not in the same camp as those who say he is a cant miss, beware of the risk involved in hooker, he isnt a top 10 or even a top 20 pick in my opinion...

Why? What makes you think he isn't? I think he's one of the top 3 most talented guys in the draft. He isn't the best tackler but he isn't Gerod Holliman. He's a fantastic player.

Every player carries some risk. Hooker certainly has issues in run support.

His range and ball skills are undeniable. Single high safety all day long.
