Any recent news or update on him?

Would love to see him get on the field.

Have we had any prospects miss their first two seasons entirely before?

Nothing I have seen of significance I am afraid.

I also wish him to hopefully play a snap.

The closest to missing 1st 2 seasons would be Sean Spence...he got hurt in preseason so close...

I think this year, unlike last year, the Steelers are doing this right. Don't count on him and enter free agency and the draft like he isn't there. Then if can play in year 3 it's a blessing. But don't go into the season counting on him and be stupid like they have done in the past, cause he hasn't played a down yet, and may never play.

Yeah, Lloyd missed all of his rookie year and most of the following year.

Had I been Spence, I would have given the Steelers 1 or 2 years at a reduced rate. Then either got a long term deal or shopped Free A. They kept him and paid him two years to pick his nose. I do understand age and time table for making money

Unless, he come in with some more bulk and blow them away at camp... I think he has missed his window with us. Don't get me wrong, the steelers will give him a chance to try and prove that their selection was a good one. They always do but it look like they're planning to move on without him again this year. It would be great if he does come back and maybe display some of those ball hawking skills that we've been hearing about for the last two seasons

I believe Jordan Zumwalt was on IR his first two years too.

I'm just hoping Golson makes it to a pre-season game at this point, let alone one that really counts. Because he has yet to play in either.

If that action figure was as fragile as Golson has been, there would have been a massive recall.

all these comparisons to past players who were out their first 2 years, doesn't really equate lol. Golson is a little guy, and he is already fragile.

Yep he might play some ST'S maybe a few snaps as a Dime or something , but really no reason to even consider him when thinking about our DB situation...Chances are great he will have little to no impact ...

He can only play on perfect weather days with no wind, any wind above 10mph will land him on the IR.

Im pulling for him. Would be a huge lift for the secondary if he can beat the odds and be the player they thought he could be when the drafted him.

No ill will here, not going to beat the guy up because of injuries.

Exactly. We are a better team if he can kick the injury bug and become the player they envisioned.
