We can draft Stevie T in the 6 or 7th and have our own version of The Wild Somoans.....for you old Skool wrestling fans....:smiley1:

Yup, but he might free up snaps for others who can, making Dan more expendable I presume... Admittedly without outright knowing whom those someone's might be at the moment.

Really wish Dan could put it together though. If he put his measurable so to use, he could be a stud.

I think Dan could rewrite the science of unpredictable line play if he had the desire

This could turn out to be their best FA signing this offseason, a quality player for depth on the DL :thumbs up:. He has some pass rush ability too, 17.5 career sacks.

I like the signing. Much like Heyward-Bey, Alualu was drafted way too high in Jax but he is a solid player.

I think this a very good signing, I remember when the Jags drafted him I was like what...as many were. I don't know much about him but drafted in the 1st round and 17 sacks I like.

McCullers swears he's dropping weight this off season so we will see. To me he's just a big teddy bear that if he would ever actually get angry he would dominate.

As someone we all know quite well would say...WRONG! :lolol:

I actually like this signing. The first thing I thought was KVO 2.0.

He could be Gordo and lose his temper and wont matter.

    He lacks technique.

The flashy free agent signing get all the press but teams that do well with these kind of depth/value signings tend to do better in the end.

With his size he doesn't need much technique to do his job and hold the line. That's all he needs to do is hold the line if he can move the center back a yard even better. He is there to eat up blocks but doesn't seem to have the nasty streak it takes. Hampton was a big teddy bear off the field but had that dlinemen mentality that Big Dan seems to lack. Maybe dropping 15 pounds will help his technique and that but still won't put the mean streak in him.

I really like our Defensive line. The best it's been since we had Smith, Hampton, Keisel, and Von Hol Hoffen anchoring the line.

Hampton was light years ahead of Dan because of football skills, not demeanor.

Sorry, I dont buy into he just needs to play angry theory, I find that an over simplification of playing the position. Little more to it then that.

I don't know I thought Maxey looked pretty decent for what he played in the Cleveland game. Was disruptive for the most part and beat his blocker.

Young prospect added from Utah. Spent time with 3 other teams. DE/OLB Jason Fanaika. 6'3" 265. PS fodder.

Well that's sorta Tomlin's main forte, as they say, so if he can't then I suppose nobody can.
