Just finished watching all that was on DBD. Pretty solid player in coverage, esp on the deep routes although Chris Godwin had a heckuva nice TD catch over him lol. Really it was tough to judge he wasn't targeted a lot on a couple games because the OSU pass rush was so good. Which leads into a whole other argument lol

If I had to pick a knock on him, he could be more physical in the run game but that seems to be the norm nowadays.

Thanks, like I said I have read a ton on him and they all sound like this from NFL.com:

    SOURCES TELL US
"He's not as good as the other cornerback (Marshon Lattimore), but he's a good corner. If he measures over 6-foot and runs in the low 4.4s he will come off the board on Thursday night." -- North area scout for NFC team
    NFL COMPARISON
    Aqib Talib
    BOTTOM LINE
Press-corner with experience at both cornerback spots and an ability to fit into a variety of coverage techniques. He plays with good top-end speed and has the ball skills to challenge and defend passes on any level. He can step in right away in zone coverage, but could struggle to match patterns from a pedal. He will likely be targeted by teams seeking long cornerbacks who can crowd and trail receivers down the field. He has the talent to become an early starter, but he must improve in run support.

I kinda feel they don't want to say he is a stud but they don't want to say he is a bust either. He has lost of experience and that is very appealing to me.

Villanova and Houston pro days today. They've already met with Tanoh Kpassgnon from Villanova so we'll see if they make the trip.

Houston has LBers Bowser and Taylor, CB Howard Wilson and QB/WR Greg Ward with whom they've met with already.

We've met with all of them, or just Ward? I have to admit, Ward may end up being my dirty little draft secret. The guy is a special athlete and football player. I think he's going to find a way to be an impactful NFL player somehow- probably as a receiver and return specialist. He originally went to Houston as a WR, and did some returning there as well before becoming their QB, so it's not like he's a total conversion project like Pat White, Terelle Pryor, etc.

They met with Ward previously, not the other two that I'm aware of.

Joey Porter did not attend Houston's pro day so you can assume Bowser is not on the radar.

Kevin Colbert at Miami pro day

Met with QB Brad Kaaya and TE David Njoku the night before. Call me crazy but I'm not a Njoku fan and hope they don't take him in the first if he's there jmo

After watching film of Njoku, and not just highlights, I'm way beyond not being a fan. His blocking is so bad that we'd get better blocking from a 190 lb. slot receiver. Just horrid. I like what I saw from Kayaa watching games back in the fall.

Can't imagine the Steelers taking him then. They are taking more of an interest in pass catching TE's but they still have to be able to block a little.

Could be lol! I hope Olsavsky was there though. I think Steven Taylor could be a nice late round addition.

    Nor am I.

A superb player he will become no question given his potential.

A surefire defender however an absolute for us; Obi, T.J. or otherwise.... just please do not let it be Carl... please..

Tomlin at Tennessee's pro day. A small school guy caught Tomlin's eye. Carson Newman had a returner/WR named Kevin Snead at the pro day and he ran in the 4.2s. Tomlin had him field kicks. Super raw by most accounts, and will probably by a UDFA.

Cam Sutton might have been a target as they've met with him before. Just saw Keith Butler was there as well so Derek Barnett could be getting a looksy too

No word on whether Jeremy Cutrer was there @NY STEELERFAN

If we go the OLB route first round,? I think our choices are Lawson,TJ Watt
and the kid from Missouri. They seem to like the measurables of these
type of players for this position. I hope they have watched lots of tape on them.
The million dollar question? Lets revisit the Jarvis Jones selection, lots of production
great conference ETC, Etc. We all know how that turned out. Crap shoot, talk to people scout, scout and scout some more. Watch tape after tape after tape. Can't whiff
    on 1rst and second rounders.

This is some real sad news, Middle Tenn & Tenn st combined their pro day and it was March 17th. Looks like the Steelers weren't there and that is a shame as they also have a RB I am high on as well Mathers. The Titans ran the work out and Cutrer met with the Giants and Cards:

As I posted earlier on Twitter, the New York Giants, Detroit Lions and Tennessee Titans all have their general managers on hand.

The New Orleans Saints, Kansas City Chiefs, New York Jets, Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders, Tampa Bay Bucs, Buffalo Bills, Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers and Arizona Cardinals are also on hand.
