The Tennessee Titans have completed the 1st round with three selections!

They started with 2 1st round picks, no 2nd round pick and 2 3rd round picks.

By maneuvering the draft process they were able to convert that into 3 1st round picks with a 3rd round pick still to come.

The Titans have added 2 playmakers to the defense including Jabrill Peppers a real do it all Swiss army knife. He is going to bring alot of playmaking abilities to the secondary and in the return game.

Using their second 2nd pick, the Titans chose Haason Reddick, a bigtime LB from Temple. He will fit in nicely at OLB and will bring a tremendous rush off the edge as well as coverage ability.

Choosing to move back into the bottom of the 1st round, The Titans grabbed officially the fastest man to ever visit the Combine. John Ross will bring his 4.22 speed and become a tremendous threat to opposing defense.

The team is happy with these 3 picks and I know the fans will love it!

I gave the Ravens a WR then proceeded to gve the Redskins the best LB in the draft. But I blame the St Patty's Day Hangover for that.

Just admit it: you showed up; burped; scratched your acorns; and then just took the next two names on the NFL.com big board. That's how drunk GMs approach the draft (with an emphasis on the acorn scratching).

as we have no 5th rd pick, the New Orleans Saints proudly present our class of 2017:

via the 1st rd., a double dip for bookend shutdown corners marshon lattimore of ohio st. and tredavius white of lsu
via the 3rd rd., olb tyus bowser of houston
and via blockbuster trade, we bring in former jets dt sheldon richardson

with a #1 offense already in place, we believe these new defensive pieces will pave the way for an all black and gold superbowl

Not to bad, the Saints definitely helped their D. Also Richardson played OLB(not very good) last year and was a DE before that.

I know speaking for myself things are really getting busy here for me with baseball season on it's way I am running almost 5 days a week depending on the rain. Thanks to all that have put this together and put time into it, I look forward to this every year. I hope it don't end yet but I understand if it does. We are getting close to the time of year where I become a ghost.........lol.

I don't no more, I use to be big time involved in our little league however as my kids got older we moved onto the school sports which I helped out in(that's another story). My youngest is in 11th grade and plays varsity with all the rain and stuff we have 4-6 games a week. This week we play Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday......oh and now golf starts today.

I spend a lot of time at a campground which don't have internet so it makes it tough(for me) to do all this on my phone with pretty crappy service......yes the beer don't help either, lol.

    The Jaguars' Draft:

    1. DeShaun Watson, QB, Clemson - He doesn't fit the prototype mold for an NFL QB (yet), but he's a winner through and through, and the stage will never be too big for him. Bortles was just not progressing, and it was time to hit the reset button and try a new guy who knows how to win big football games. And... well it's about putting butts in the seats too. I think he compares favorably to Dak Prescott in terms of NFL am talent and intangibles.

    2. Charles Harris, DE, Missouri - A pure pass rusher. He has work to do to be a 3 down defender, but even if he only remains a pass rushing specialist the value is there for a defense that's nearly complete but still lacks enough edge presence.

2a. Evan Engram, TE, Ole Miss - A seam-stretching "move TE" for our new QB. I like his tape. I think he's the best receiving TE in this draft, and while he really can't line up as an inline TE and be a road grader, he does surprisingly well blocking in space in the run game for a guy his size.

    3. Antonio Garcia, T, Troy - I was looking to the future after Brandon Albert with this pick, An athletic LT prospect who needs a bit more strength work to be ready. Unfortunately I'm seeing reports that Albert wants a new contract and is not participating in the offseason conditioning program. Trouble brewing... Antonio had better get ready fast.

    4. Marcus Maye, S, Florida - I'm not sure how he slipped this far. He's a solid, versatile safety who can be used all over the defensive backfield.

    5. Shelton Gibson, WR, West Virginia - Another weapon for our new QB. The Jags have a number of possession type of receivers, but Gibson gives them a bona-fide deep threat and gives some return capability. The Steelers had him in for a visit, and he seems to be a guy they have their eye on as their next late round success at WR.

The Redskins present their 2017 draft class:

1st Reuben Foster, LB, Alabama Inside LB
2nd Malik McDowell, DT, Michigan State Will move to DE in our 3-4 base D
3rd Dalvin Tomlinson, DT, Alabama Will anchor our DL as NT.
    4th Brian Hill RB Wyoming
4th Montae Nicholson SS Michigan State Jr
5th Garrett Sickels DE/OLB Penn State

The defense was horrible. Couldn't stop the pass or the run. Enough said.

    The Jets 2017 draft class:

    Jamal Adams, SS
    Gareon Conley, CB
    Curtis Samuel, WR
    Julie'n Davenport, OT
    Carroll Phillips, OLB
    Jordan Leggett, TE
    Nathan Peterman, QB

The obvious need for the Jets was a QB and I really wanted Watson here but he was taken. The Jets starting safeties last year were rand 44th and 72nd in pass coverage, the Jets wanted Hooker but he was taken as well. So they went with Adams to team up with last years pick Pryor. Conley was added to help the 16th ranked pass defense.

Samuel was added to the offense in hopes he can help add some spark. The Jets are hoping to see a little Percy Harvin from him.

The Jets then traded Richardson who was in his final year of his deal and scheduled to make 8 mil. He has said he wants a 100 million dollar deal and that don't mix with the Jets rebuild. That trade turned into Davenport, hopefully a future LT and Leggett who they hope becomes the TE they have been longing for.

Phillips was drafted to take over for Richardson, some off field problems dropped him down but he has shown first round talent.

Peterman will be given a chance to compete but with Hackenberg being drafted so high last year they feel he is their man.

Overall with a team looking to rebuild I think they hit at most of their needs and got some real good value. I as GM am pretty happy with this draft.

I present the Ravens 2017 draft class

1st Corey Davis, WR, Western Michigan
    2nd Teez Tabor, CB, Florida
3rd Raekwon McMillan, ILB, Ohio State
    3rd Jon Toth, C, Kentucky
4th Chad Wheeler, OT, Southern Calfornia
    5th De'Veon Smith RB Michigan

They needed help all over the place. I would not really fear them much next year. But they are rivals so... Anyway, I goal was to get them a few quick impact players WR, CB, and a few that could help shore up a few point on the team. The LB corp is old and needed help. The line could always use help. And they are forever looking for a RB.

    The Titans 2017 draft class:

    1A Jabrill Peppers, S, Michigan
    1B Hasson Reddick, LB, Temple
    1C John Ross, WR, Washington
3 Rasul Douglas, CB, West Virginia
    4 Bucky Hodges, TE, Virginia
    5 Damien Mama, OG, USC

The Titans came into this draft with a focus of shoring up the secondary while needed to add an explosive piece to the passing game.

The Titans played the draft board while moving up and down in the first round to add 2 dynamic playmakers to their defense in Jabrill Peppers and Haason Reddick. Peppers will come in to play SS in base defense while moving into the nickel position on passing downs. Haason Reddick will man the inside in the Titans 3-4 defense and will kick outside to potentially rush the Passer on passing downs.

After John Ross slipped further than expected, the Titans moved back into the 1st round to acquire him. With a run heavy offense an explosive outaide playmaker was needed to keep 8 out of the box. His 4.2 speed will ensure that.

(Speaking off the record, had I not traded back into the 1st round, and kept picks #42 and #83, and known that I could have walked away with CB Kevin King and WR Connor Kupp, I probably would have done that.)

Rasul Douglas has the size and the ball skills to make an impact in the Titans secondary.

Bucky Hodges may have been Virginia's best playmaker and he wI'll add another threat to the Titans passing attack.

With the departure of Chance Warmack, the Titans decided to add another big body on to the line in Damien Mama in order to keep the run game strong.

Overall pretty happy with this draft. The Titans poor secondary has been instantly upgraded and the cover ability of Reddick from the middle will help fix their woes.

The original plan was to grab 2 CBs, however, when Ross dropped, Tennessee felt the need to jump up and get him.

Watch out for the Titans next year.

I'd like to apologize to the city of Detroit and all its fans for expending 2 draft picks on RB's
I blame the drunken GM for spiking my coffee, his club keeps growing.

Except for that gaffe, the first 3 picks of this draft are excellent, IMO and the 4th, Kittle, is a great blocking and move the chains TE. He's a more athletic Heath Miller.

Pumphrey is a wild card, some on this board love him and think he is a big offensive weapon. At the very least, he can give McCaffrey a breather. Who knows, maybe the OC could create some matchup nightmares with them both on the field.

    1) Christian McCaffrey, RB, Stanford
    2) Tarell Basham, DE, Ohio
    3) Damontae Kazee, CB, San Diego State
    4) George Kittle, TE, Iowa
    5) Donnel Pumphrey, RB, San Diego State
