It's shaping up to be a very deep draft class

 

I'm hoping we draft a new DC that understands when a zone defense isn't working. If not, then I'd like to continue to draft secondary help so we can officially get rid of Willie Gay.

 

BPA anywhere except maybe OL.

 

Play-makers, play-makers, play-makers. Whether it is offense or defense, that's what the Steelers need. If you can't stop them, you have to outscore them. If you can't outscore them, you need to be able to slow them down with pass rushers. Defense needs an edge rusher, possible inside linebacker, safety, and another corner.

 

All the more reason Jabrill Peppers could be it.



One question remains.



What will is stock be post-combine? To be honest, he is all over the place.

 

What position does he play here?

 

A safety to replace Mike Mitchell. I'd also like to see someone else playing CB- at least starting there- than Ross Cockerell next season, although perhaps that player is already on the roster. If Martavis isn't back, a WR would be good.

I'd even draft a QB if one good enough is there.

 

Safety a LA Troy style.


Troy played almost everywhere at USC.


Jabrill played almost everywhere at Michigan.



Keith Butler can use him almost to what Dick LeBeau used Troy. Not saying Jabrill will be Troy, but he can be that tempo setting, impact player on the back end; giving way for Sean Davis' natural spot at Free Safety.

 

BPA for first round then unless Tomlin and Colbert trust Takk's injury will be gone by mid season in addition to him actually doing it.

 

Pass rusher or I think TE, cut ties with Ladarius Green
