When we had the ball at the 1 yard line, Ben hands the ball over to William twice for -5 yards. When Pats had a 3rd and 1, Brady sneaks in for a first down. Brady wants it more than Ben. Why can't Ben demand to sneak the ball for the TD? Yes, I realize that the play came from Haley, but Ben should have overruled the call and snuck in himself. That is why Brady is a great QB and Ben is a good QB. Big difference. That series of play really pissed me off.

Well I don't think one play defines who is better
But head to head yes Brady has had the upper hand vs Ben

I wouldn't even say Brady is better. Our defense and game plan just sucks every time we play them.

Brady has 15 minutes to throw, and plays in the AFC East.

hate to say this, but Brady is great. He only takes what the defense gives him. I can't believe how open Hogan was throughout the game.

Bens best days seem to be behind him. He flat out was horrible. And the defense playing the same song against the cheats was putrid. A total team effort in this embarrassment.

Yet again, Ben wasn't the issue. No bell, hurt receivers, dropped passes, turnover. We should have aired it out when Bell went down.

Ben, Peyton, Brees with Belicheat would have won 4+ SBs. Quality QBs matched up with superb coaching. That's the real difference.

He is the best, but given the right circumstances. There was a lot of bad coaching on both sides of the ball and I think getting stuffed at the goal line had a big impact on the players and this game.

Ben chucks the ball on 3rd and 1 and hopes he gets a flag. Brady takes what is given to him.

I really don't want to say this, I appreciate Coach T, but one of the top 2 reasons (#1 is talent)...

    2) Marcia has, by far, a better HC and OC.

Didn't Brady fumble on that sneak? That should have been our ball, the officials screwed us.

The difference between the two is efficiency. Brady throws for 1st downs. Ben throws bombs on 3rd and 1. Ben tried to complete low percentage passes. Brady sees the field better than anyone and takes the high percentage passes and does it quickly. Which is why our game plan of bend and not break does not work against NE. We have to make them break or we lose. They don't make mistakes so making them drive the field and hoping for mistakes doesn't work. You have to force them into mistakes. You have to knock Brady around. We didn't touch him for most of the game. We let their WR's run clean off the LOS for easy timing plays that Brady has mastered.

Our F-ing game plan was make Brady play his own game.

Brady keeps the drives going -he's got no problem getting 5-8 yards up and down the field. Ben needs to make the highlight film with the big play. Once Ben gets set on a receiver the ball is going there - there could be 4 guys on the receiver and he's going there....forces plays that aren't there. Sure 3 and 1 plays are fun to throw the 40 yard pass but I'd rather have the 1 yard and go for the 40 yards on first down.

Yep. In all areas, the team was not ready "to play the Pats"

Exactly about Ben, his deep throws are always wobbled
Won't do any good to have Bryant back just so he can be under thrown also

The Steelers play soft when they play these F*cks. I said all night that when you play the Pats, you have to play Rugby and not Chess. If you play a soft calculated game you will lose. The best way to beat these bastard is to punch the F'ers in the mouth.

Ben is hands down one of the most physically talented qbs in the league.
    Brady, the most psychological.

Kind of ironic since Eli Manning is neither and he's got 2 rings vs Brady

I got to wonder if Ben has lost the drive?

I don't see the fire, he's got his rings, what does he care?
