Instead of whining about Tomlin, let's give props to Bill and Brady. Hands down the greatest NFL coach and greatest NFL QB ever. Period. They own us. Put any other coach in Tomlin's position, I'd argue same results. Beating Patriots in their stadium with trip to SB on the line...fuhgetaboutit.

Are we the only people that remember the game against these dicks in Pittsburgh some years ago where we went man to man and shut them down? If we all remember that why can't our defensive coaches? This defensive game plan was bad from the first snap.

I get why our coaches say we only care about what we do and the only adjustments we need are to do what we do better, but in 2005 we changed our offensive game plan up in the playoffs and started throwing the ball and it worked! Teams had prepped for our run game and we threw them off. Why not add some new wrinkles for this game?

I mean even demigod Bill Belichek added a bunch of new stuff for this game.

That's what pisses me off the most. I thought I'd get to watch a good game. We look like the ****ing browns.

 

Did anyone see any semblance of a game plan here? Any attempt to take advantage of a Pats weakness? Or do anything different?

Of course not.

 

The problem is the coaches are gutless. They should have been playing man all night on D and no huddle on O and spread it out. They took no risks against a better team and this is the result. You can not, I say you can not play conservative against a better team.

Ben with Belicheat easily wins 4+ SBs. If the Cheatriots were to play a lazy zone that left receivers wide open, Ben would be putting up Brady's numbers. If 'ifs' and 'buts' were fruits and nuts we'd all have a merry xmas.
