zone is fine but on 3rd and long they need to man and blitz and make Brady earn it. Make them run the right route, Brady make the throw, and receiver catch it. This defensive gameplan ****ing sucks. All they have is Hogan.

 

Of course they did. You could see if pre-snap. Ben, the master of checking out the run so he can throw a TD, hands off into a wall. We fail to play-action on 2nd down and run that horrid garbage on 3rd. It's a complete lack of intelligence and execution.

As it stands currently though, I do not think Butler is going to change much of anything. Then again, players have to execute their assignments.

They aren't doing anything crazy. Same plays we've seen from them all year. We look scared, they look fierce. It's a miracle we're only down by 8.

Sorry, still don't agree with what they did. With that logic they shouldn't be running DeAngelo up the gut either. It should have been play action on that 2nd down. Possibly catch DeAngelo out in the flat on a short pass. Anything but run it straight up the gut. Haley and Tomlin piss me off to no end with things they do.

 

6'5" 240 lb QB and you don't sneak from the 1 foot line. I don't get it. Are they worried about concussions?

Problem is every time we blitz, they pick it up and Brady torches us. It's literally the same thing every year with brady. Unless you can get consistent pressure with your front 3 or 4, relying on the blitz is going to hurt you more times than not.

 

So tough when you don't play up to your ability...but that's sports and at least there's another half to turn it around. I just thought they'd need to play a near perfect game to win and that's out the window.

Well, everything went right for the patsies and not so well for us, but we're still in the game. Haley's red zone calls are garbage
