I wrote in another thread that the Patsys ain't that good, and some people took exception to it. but look at this link.
Also, ANOTHER INTERESTING TIDBIT, Ben is 13-6 in postseason, when Ben has a bad day passing, we are 7-0 when Ben passes for under 225 yards. We are 0-3 when Ben passes for over 300 yards.

The Patriots had the easiest strength of schedule this year.

They have an easy schedule pretty much every year. Their division is a complete joke. They have 6 games against the dolphins, jets and bills yearly. None of those teams were even close to a legitimate threat to the Patsies for a long time.

They also didn't have to deal with Atlanta, Dallas, Green Bay, Washington, Giants, Raiders, KC. They played and lost to Seattle. If the Texans had anything resembling a QB, the Texans would have beat them too.

I know we're trying to build up our confidence in our Steelers - but let's not forget, we also played the Bills, Dolphins, Browns (x2) and Bengals (x2). Not exactly top of the heap competition there, either.

Still confident we will this game Sunday night, though.

look, both our teams are good. Bad teams dont win 14 games regardless of the schedule. They know how to win regardless of talent. With that being said, we have the better talent. And according to pats fans, they do.

so it's homers vs homers lol

The point of the thread is the easy schedule the Patsys had.
We had the Redskins,Chiefs, Pats, Ravens x2,Cowboys, and Giants. Plus playoff team Miami, and juts missed playoffs Bungles x2.

I doubt the Pats make the playoffs with our schedule.

Doesn't matter at this point, all that matters is that you beat the teams you are scheduled to play.

I think the D is the part of their team which is overrated. That is not to say they aren't good, but just overrated. Look at the QBs they played against this year. Go through their schedule and you will see it was like us last year with hitting all the backups at the end of the year to get into the playoffs. It just is NOT stellar.

Yea I agree I think the Pats D is overrated and has not played any good QB's or offenses at all with the exception of Seattle and they ended up beating them. I think the Steelers offense exposes the Pats D and has a real big game which is the difference in the Steelers winning this game.

Idk about not making the playoffs, but I don't think their team is as good as their record and offensive/defensive rankings indicate. Gronk is usually our downfall against the Pats, but with him out I feel really good about our chances... will it be easy? No. But we can definitely do it.

I hope so. I'll be on the Connecticut/Mass border all week for my company sales meeting all week next week (many of the people I know in corporate are Pats fans). It would be nice to walk around corporate with a smile among all the sad Patsies fans!

They're talented but they never take a beating like the AFC North goes after each other.

As a matter of fact they're pretty dang soft. If we bring it then we win easily. Just don't make stupid mistakes.

    I wouldn't underestimate them.
Bill Belichick could go 0-16 for six straight years and still have a better winning percentage than Jeff Fisher.

People often forget that, in spite of his "inhuman nature" to assimilate talent that comes to New England, Bill Belichick has shown that he can make something from nothing; a rare genius at that.

Lol, they're still very good. I don't think they are as strong as they were a couple years ago, but still probably better than everyone in the AFC.. Hopefully we are better on Sunday.

All that strength of schedule stuff doesn't really matter now. It's all about Sunday and we'll see how good the Patriots are. I hope we pound Tom Brady like the Broncos did last year in the AFC Championship game. If we can get to him we will have a really good chance to win. Can't let him sit back in the pocket and make 4-5 reads. Our defense has been lights out and I don't see that changing Sunday. I hope TB is screaming on the sidelines cause we're busting him up.
