We lost to Denver because of our 3rd string RB, but I agree with you. Ben IS integral, but he's still not playing the way they need him to play.

I was behind the Steelers bench for the KC game and all Ben did on the sidelines is shake his head. He's pissed at himself because he knows he can be better.

They need him to be better this week!

Ben has to play better than he played against the Chiefs. The defense will not be the reason the Steelers lose this game, if they lose. It will be because Ben did not play well. There's no excuses now. The O-line is healthy and so are Bell and AB.

I think there is a lot of misremembering this season. Ben was good VS the Giants, Colts and Bengals. He had a tough half vs the Rats but turned it around when it mattered. He played really well vs the Dolphins and I don't think he was bad for the Chiefs.

I agree that we need him to be good Sunday to win, but can we stop pretending that he's been some average turd this season? Are we REALLY that spoiled?

Everything that has already been said.
But one thing I will add is don't give them any free yards. By that I mean, be wary of substitutions. P. Manning, Brady, and Rodgers are all excellent at catching a defense with too many men on the field. If they're going to substitute, they better bring their hustle. I'd love to see Ben take a page out of their book and catch them off guard doing the same thing.

We lost because Ben didn't have A.B. vs Denver.

    And Bell*

Actually I changed my mind. We still lost because of the third string rb....

Ben played well that game without Brown.

Ben played well with a shoulder that would have kept most QBs out of the game! Without Bell, Without Brown, Without Williams, Ben was 7 points away from winning that game!

My biggest concern is knocking Marsha out of the game.....he gets replaced by Jeanine and we have to relive this nightmare all over again for the next decade....

My concern is to conservative defense run by the Steelers, TB will dink and dunk us too death.

Seattle who had a much better defense than we have controlled Brady pretty well. Baltimore/Giants

have had success with Brady. I hope the Steelers have reviewed films of these teams.

Really he was a Fitz fumble away from winning it. The same way he was a Mendy fumble away from winning a 3rd trophy. Although his pick 6 in that game certainly didn't help matters.

Danny Amendola catching like 20 passes to keep drives alive. Someone needs to pound that punk!

Big difference from having the lead and driving to pad that lead, then trailing and driving for the go ahead score.

I think if A.B. was in that game we would have scored a few more times in the Redzone. Its hard to say how much Lev Bell would have scored against Denver's D-line. They were really good that year.

Idk. Seemed like Toussant was having a field day until he fumbled.

Either way, let's stop living in our fears. I've wanted the Steelers to knock the Patriots out of the playoffs for years!
