reminds of the 1974 playoff season when we went into the big bad Oakland Raiders in Oakland. Dominated them and went to Super Bowl IX. I hope Bell does a job on the Patriots as Franco did against the Raiders. That 1974 win against the Raiders was the greatest satisfication I ever experienced.

Good memory- and if you recall, my boy Jimmy here to the left was an unsung hero that day. Mel Blount could not cover Cliff Branch (I think that is still the AFC playoff receiving record) at all that day. So, Bud Carson yanked him and put Jimmy in, and he shut him down in the 4th quarter.

I am hoping this game is also reminiscent of the Colts game in the 2005 playoffs when no one gave the Steelers a chance on the road against a supposedly invincible Colts team that had beaten them in the regular season.

Yes, remembered Jimmy Allen. Wish we had kept him but we traded him to the Lions. We had some talented CB including Dave Brown who we gave up in the expansion draft to the Shehawks. That was a huge mistake.

I don't know if gave up is the word in an expansion draft.

More like they protected other players.

He was solid as hell though.
