ok I'm pretty antsy about this one. My gut feeling is not a good one, but I have IBS so ignore that lol. Let's discuss why we win, or why we lose lol.

    Why we win:
We are on a roll. We have the 3 b's and their run D is poor. We control the clock. Our offense should do enough for our d to hold. Andy Reid is worse than Tomlin, big time lol. Alex Smith

    why we lose:
KC is a hostile environment. Bug Bin hurt is ankle and will throw high all game(i think he is ok, suffered many sprains myself). Bell can't get going. We arent as dominant on the road. Good Alex Smith. Special teams.

BTW I am thinking of not watching the game or checking the score til the game is over to appease the football gods.

A bit early, no? Does it really matter since you've already declared (repeatedly) that it's going to be Cowboys/Pats?

still, he needs to be respected lol.

Since Dupree/Harrison starting steelers averaging 3 sacks a game, 17.7 points allowed.

Remember when people would comment on Tomlin looking like Epps?

now he reminds me of Cedric Yarbrough

I just hope we don't have the reverse situation of the Miami game. Lost to them early in the season, beat them yesterday.

Beat the Chiefs earlier in the year......???

Little nervous but I think we'll sweep them, our defense is coming alive at the right time and KC will have trouble containing all our weapons.

If the steelers lose its because they gave up a kick return TD or 2 and let the chiefs offense get good field position off returns. It will also be because Ben threw a couple picks. Bell will get his.

Need to keep Kelce in check. He is one of the best TE's in the NFL.

If the Steelers keep #26 pounding the rock, I like our chances. Do that and take care of the ball. Keep Ben in the 25 pass attempts and under.
    Play good situational/opportunistic defense.

It seems to be a winning formula.

Just two concerns, who is going to cover there big Tight End, and our special team weakness both in kick returns and kick coverage.. We are so bad in our special team play. Offensive we should be okay if Ben ankle is okay.

Packers would be hard to beat with the way Rodgers is playing. Whatever happens... NFC Championship will be a helluva game... doesn't matter who makes it. Falcons, Seahawks, Packers and Cowboys all have good offenses.

yup all those offenses will shred our D. We will have a similar plan with what cowboys do, run the rock and control TOP. keep opposing offense to field goals.

    Thing is...

    Bell> every other back

I vote for big ben as a game manager lol. If bell keeps taking over, and the rest of the team plays with fire we will win.

Ben's hurt ankle is his right ankle not his left (which is his plant foot). I don't think that would cause him to throw high!?

I think we used Gilbert on Kelce a few times last game.... Maybe he gets a hat on Sunday? Would potentially help on kick returns as well.

The Steelers led the first game 36-0 at one point, and Kelce was playing. The big difference in the Kansas City offense is the larger role for Hill.

At least we may finally see Toussaint off kickoff returns. He is in the concussion protocol.
