2016 stats say the Steelers play better on the road, especially the Defense.

Offense is slightly better on the road stat-wise.

We are better than the Chiefs defensively and offensively. The Chiefs are especially vulnerable to the pass.

If we play our game, we should handle the Chiefs easy. Ben had his usual bad game after sitting out week against the Fins, but Brown made him look good.

Ben usually plays way better the second game back.

Going into this game I got one name on my mind - Tyreek Hill. On the defensive side of the ball, the Chiefs Justin Houston could be a major problem as he goes up against Villanueva, hopefully Bell can pick him up if he slips by Villy.

This looks like a 38-20 game to me, Steelers on top. If Tyreek Hill doesn't burn our special teams all day, it could be something like 38-10.

Interesting - anecdotally I always assumed it was the other way around, and we were much better at home.

Which stats were you looking at in particular?

hmm Chiefs at home score 23.8 points a game, allowing 15.7. Steelers on the road score 21.6 points, allowing 19.6

sloppy field, 43-14 in their minds, mobile qb, well rested, and Fat andy looking to actually win a game for once. Not sure why anyone feels confident lol

This season they were 5-3 in road games, and 6-2 at home, scoring stats dont really matter much it's the wins and losses that matter, 5-3 on the road is a winning record so they aren't as bad on the road as people think........

There has been on constant this 8 game win streak. #26 gets the rock, and we get on his back. Then take what the defense gives you.
Defense has played opportunistic and situational football.

Keep doing it until somebody stops it.

Many a Super Bowl have been won with this philosophy. Look at last year's Denver Broncos, it wasn't Peyton Manning they were riding.

They ran the ball well, and had an incredible defense.

    well
i know it's slow down in cowtown
so,this is what you do seeing how you live so close

    go to the field
burn a giant S into the field for the Steelers
and then the field might be sloppy as you claimed
    when in
    reality
    it's a brand new field
    it will not be sloppy
    unless
you do as what is planned

    comprende ese

Do you have any hard stats on this, or just W/L and gut. I'm a nerd, I like hard numbers.

    If you aren't too busy.

The Chiefs lose at home in the playoffs history indicates. So while Arrowhead is a tough place to play the Chiefs have lost their last 4 home playoff games there and 3 of those were when they had a bye week like they do this week. So this team can be had I think very easily if the Steelers show up and play like they are supposed too.

The Chiefs two losses in November and December were at home to the Bucs and the Titans. They definitely aren't invincible there this season.

How is it going to be a sloppy field? they just installed a multi million dollar heated field. Field will be good. They have a mobile QB, but not much else.

During this 8 game win streak, Steelers have won 4 straight on the road.

I think they got over the hump of winning away from home.
