I think even if Burfict would have been able to play the next week last year that they still wouldn't suspend him because they would just file an appeal and hold up the process.

If I had the cash to do it I'd do it in a heartbeat.

Super Bowl 4 was post-merger, 1970. Merger was 1966, no?

The Chiefs have lost there last 5 home playoff games at Arrowhead and haven't won a playoff game there in 23 years. So what that tells me is they have a history of choking and losing big games there. You factor in Andy Reid and his record in big games at home and I like the Steelers chances. So the fact that the Chiefs have lost their last 5 home playoff games at Arrowhead tells me it's a tough play to play indeed but it's definitely a place you can win at if you show up and play well.

The agreement was in place, but the first four Super Bowls were played before the merger was official. This is why the 1968 Colts and 1969 Vikings were NFL Champions, despite losing the Super Bowl.

Maybe we can work out a trade with the KC message board. We trade Real Steel for the guy who says we are the best team in the NFL. Any takers?

Well I mean it sounds like we'd at least be getting an actual Steeler fan in return. So yeah. I'd be cool with that. LOL!

This would be his first offense, right?

That counts as a Super Bowl / NFL Title in my book. Don't get greedy, Chiefs. ;+)

Correct. I see a fine, hefty maybe, but nothing more.

Bud Dupree is not the second coming of Vontaze Burdick as some people over at Cincy Jungle would have some to believe.

I'd trade him for some gum someone stuck under their seat.

The only time the Steelers and Chiefs have met in the playoffs was that OT game when Montana beat us. We owe them.

The Chiefs Super Bowl was so long ago their QB could light up a smoke in the locker room at halftime.

Super bowl 4 was after the merger. It was completed prior to the 1970 season

Much like this board can be with the Pats, I guess.

Agree with a lot of the other posters here - KC is a great team, great franchise. Just a shame we have to kick their asses.

BTW that thread on Chiefs Planet is hilarious. Very different vibe to the Bengals one!

If we lose it will be because of one of two reasons, either our special teams will kill us or Bad Ben shows up. One or the other.
