Even if this team gets by the Dolphins... no way they win in KC.

This team is not the team of '05 that can go on the road and win games. Just not built for that.

Patriots will probably get the Texans or Dolphins in the divisional round.

At this point... I don't even care. Just want the NFC Champion to beat the Patriots.

Let's just focus on the game at hand there is no tomorrow if you lose. One game at a time.

I still like the Steelers in a game versus KC. They hung 43 points on them earlier this season and while I don't expect them to do that again this time around it still has to be in the back of the Chiefs mind. Plus, Andy Reid always seems to choke in the playoffs and the Chiefs choke at Arrowhead in the playoffs all the time. Their last playoff win at home was 23 years ago at Arrowhead against the Steelers in 1994. So hopefully the Steelers don't make that the Chiefs next home playoff win.

If we win. Patriots get winner of Texans/Raiders so back-up QB or potentially 3rd string. They essentially get 3 weeks to prepare for AFCCG. We were so close. All we needed was the Raiders to win, Chiefs lose, or Chargers to actually show up for the perfect scenario. But of course everything lines up for the Cheatriots who had the 2nd easiest schedule in the league.

You sound like one of those stupid yinzers who was saying 2 months ago, "no way they win the division" or "no way this team makes the playoffs".

    Keep it up.

They can beat KC but it's going to be hard fought. Just like the Dolphins game at home with a back-up QB, sadly. The issue is the Patriots get to rest for 3 weeks before the AFCCG.

Unless Le'Veon Bell has a lights out game... which is possible, not likely Steelers win in KC. Matchup with Patriots is a pipe dream at this point.

I want the Pats in Foxboro. We have some old scores to settle and some demons to exorcise! If we lose, well, that's what everybody expects anyway. Haley and Butler are smart coordinators. Throw everything, including the kitchen sink, at them. But first we have two important tasks ahead...

I want that to happen too, but Patriots basically have two bye weeks to prepare for AFC Championship. Are the Texans or Raiders without Carr gonna put up a fight or even be competitive? I don't think so.

It's ironic that a Raiders QB injury screwed up everything.

You're simplifying a little. Teams don't make the playoffs with a QB alone. So while I still see the Pats getting to the AFCCG, it's not as if they'll be playing flag football.

If anything, though, I hope the pats do see it as a bye, and get caught napping.

    God
beating the Pats in their house would be awesome
    then again
we'd have people here claiming we shot our load and the the Super Bowl is the game we are due for a let down

i mean 10 wins straight right

hell it's hard for people to grasp we had 3 in a row after the Giants
so the Bills game was our game to lose
    then the bengals
    then the ravens
    then .....

Belicheat is already game planning for Steelers and Chiefs. They own the Dolphins and Texans/Raiders are flag football games for them especially with back-up QBs. Nobody besides Gronk ever gets injured, all the injuries go in their favor. Almost all the time.

Then I guess Goodell should just cancel the post-season and just hand the trophy to Kraft and spare everyone else the headaches! Yeah, that's the ticket!

Those are the same people that when I posted we were going to run the table after we were 4 and 5 were not believing it at all.
As we won game after game in our 7 game streak more and more of them jumped on the bandwagon. That's fine because most of us
are Steeler fans. We are all looking for the same goal.
Those people are now going to tell us there is no way the Steelers can win the SB. I guess they will just need to see it get closer to happening to believe it. I'm not going to say they will win #7 any more. I've been saying it since before the season started. Some of you have been on board with them winning it all for some time. Looks like we were right.

Plus, anyone that things Belichick looks past an opponent, is delusional. He's not game planning 2 weeks away for an opponent he doesn't even know he will face while having a playoff game to play this weekend.

Our comfort will come knowing you will most likely be watching that game home alone - what Steeler fan in their right mind would want to be surrounded by such doubt other than a few other names herein not to be mentioned. Let them play the game and surprise us. Also - going to take more than just LeVeon Bell playing lights out to win any of these games - but fortunately there's a tiny bit of other talent that can make it happen. Relax. Enjoy. Be happy!
